Glen Powell doesn't play a dick Naval aviator in this one. Looks pretty good, and I highly recommend the book it's based on.

I think somebody posted a different trailer for that not long ago? Either way, I'm in.

Early returns on Prey seem pretty promising.

Bugsy isn't a very good movie, but it's all about the creation of the city in the desert.
No it isn't, but yes it is.

Just finished watching Prey on Hulu and it's fantastic. The whole time period the story is set in is really fun. Lots of gore, but still a tight fun story.

Clocks in at like 1hr 40 minutes. Perfect length. Just good ****. Wished it would have got a release in theaters.

Better than Predator 2 and neck and neck with the original IMO.

Maybe but Predator is easily a top 3 action movie of alltime for me. ****, ok maybe easily top 5

My top 5 are, in no particular order: Predator, Aliens, Matrix, Kill Bill 1&2 (counts as one) and Fifth Element. Paring that down to 3 would make me sweat

For Prey to be near anything on that list would be pretty tough

I meant it was 2nd in the predator franchise as far as quality goes. I'd be fine putting it third as well.

I wasn't saying it was top 2 all time for all action movies or anything.

The original predator is still top dog. Maybe my neck and neck comment was a bit confusing.

The positive reviews for Prey are a surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one.

I love Fifth Element but I don't think any of the most memorable bits I associate with it (and there are indeed many) have much action in them.

Milla's fighting during the Opera is fun though.

Yeah. If it gets good reviews, I’ll definitely see it. I had no interest in Predators and The Predator (holy **** the titles in this series are astonishingly Microsoftian)

I love The Fifth Element and will defend its honor til the end of time. But a top 5 action movie of all time? Holy dogs**t, nope.

I'm so lost. I've never seen a Predator movie of any sort.

Everything I know about it I learned from Family Guy references.
