Looks interesting. Hopefully it's more True Grit than Old Country.

Javier Bardem was the only thing I really enjoyed about Old Country.

Source of the post Maybe this opens Cavill up to be the next Bond?
Gotta be honest, it's hard for me to imagine a Bond that wasn't British.

Soooooooooooo Henry Cavill, from Jersey in the Channel Islands and resident of London, would be a good pick to you?

The man from UNCLE is a highly underrated movie, he would be a good bond.

These are epic bad takes. NCFOM is my favorite film of the last 20+ years. It's about as close to perfect as a movie can be. True Grit was meh at best.

dodint planted "Old Country" in my brain and I rolled with it. Maybe I need to go back and rewatch NCFOM. I have not seen it since shortly after it came out. I may also be conflating it with other films.

My initial thought was Bond was perhaps driving this decision. We shall see.

Apparently, Cavill may not be done with Superman. The rumor that was spread was apparently not true.

When I read Lionheart, for some reason my brain interpreted it is Dragonheart. And I was like, 1) welcome to the party, that movie is like 20 years old, and 2) 'incredible performances', wtf, are we talking about two different movies here?

No, Tiffy McCan'tRead. Just you. :face:

I don’t know what the **** Lionheart is, but Dragonheart is awesome AND has Dina Meyer in it.

to be fair, Lionheart is 18 years old and 2) the same could be made about that one

Lionheart is underrated.

Dragonheart has some very sentimental value to me.

Bloodsport, Lionheart, and Double Impact all are streaming on Prime. I watched the first 2 and am nervously excited for Double Impact as it has been a long time.

Dragonheart was one of my favorite movies as a kid. Also has great value in Six Degrees of Separation.
