Mrs Tif's surname is Heaton. Back when ahe was a field rep calling on Ob/Gyn offices, one of the staff at a place in BH was like "Are you related to the actress? She's a patient of Dr So-and-so."
As somebody who still has Everybody Loves Raymond in their top 10 list of TV shows, it was disappointing to find out that she was a nutjob a few years ago.

I mean the main reason is because I wanna see it. Something just tells me it's not gonna be good.

I have 0 interest in watching it. I feel like it’s gonna be similar to all of the other non-Toy Story 2/3 sequels (Finding Dory, Incredibles 2, Monsters U, etc): enjoyable enough but ultimately unnecessary

Sold. Looking forward to this.

I want to see it, too. Will probably download it and watch it at home after vacation, though.

The hype for this confused me so I looked it up and it's directed by Greta Gerwig and written by her and Noah Baumbach? Wtf.

It might’ve been just a meme but I remember reading that Nolan had asked Warner Bros for an actual nuclear explosion for his filmnow that sounds interesting. i don't enjoy nolan. but this topic seems good for his styleChristopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer film
I love Nolan’s work (tif and I hold TDK in the same high regard) and a big part of it is he’s committed to cinema rather than being a pop artist who does marvel movies or whatever
edit: lol ok it was almost certainly a meme but I did find this

I want to like Nolan more than I do. I guess it's just his recent work that I didn't really connect with. I liked Dunkirk but hated Tenet and Interstellar. His earlier work is great.

Nolan and Tarantino are neck and neck my two favorite directors of alltime. The only movie that I wasn’t absolutely enamored with was Interstellar when it got to the “love transcends dimensions” part (Dark Knight Rises was iffy at places too)
Memento, Prestige, Dark Knight, Dunkirk and Tenet were all *chef’s kiss*

Momento is probably my favorite still. Prestige was good. I don't care for batman but they were all fine. I liked Interstellar actually but not Inception. I was excited for Dunkirk but fell asleep 20 minutes in after renting it for 2 days and never watched it and still haven't even after seeing it's on netflix I think. And haven't considered watching Tenet. On paper I think I'd love him and I'm planning on giving some of his stuff another try.

Not my style, I guess. Unnecessarily complex/confusing, overly bloated at nearly 3 hours (a problem with many of Nolan's later films), plot holes, questionable acting, and a climax that isn't satisfying enough to warrant the build up (twss).

That was a mistake I shall never repeat.

Christopher Nolan has a very Ridley Scott-esque CV imo. The highs are absolutely tremendous, some of the best stuff ever committed to the media. The lows are maddening and confusing in their badness.
