The BR release is going to have another short with Thor's former roommate Darryl and his new roommate, The Grandmaster.

It's still shocking that Marvel gave one of their tentpole characters to Taika Waititi. And that's why Marvel films are tons of fun and DC films are slogs.

"There’s not an ounce of my personal feeling in Temple of Doom."I believe Spielberg also thinks Temple of Doom is the worst Indy. I love the opening of that movie.
Yikes.

Doesn't he completely blame it on Lucas and Lucas completely blames it on his divorce? Who's to blame for the vine swinging?"There’s not an ounce of my personal feeling in Temple of Doom."I believe Spielberg also thinks Temple of Doom is the worst Indy. I love the opening of that movie.

My recollection is that he wasn't especially keen on doing a sequel at all. But he was like, "If I don't do it, someone else will," so he signed on. I've not yet seen the HBO documentary about Spielberg, but apparently he goes in with both barrels on that movie.
I can completely understand him saying TOD is his least favorite Indy movie. But saying it is the worst Indy movie is just not right. While I've never seen KOTCS, I still think the argument can be put forward that it is actually the worst movie overall on his entire CV.

It's close, but I'd still rather watch Crystal Skull than 1941, The Terminal, or AI.My recollection is that he wasn't especially keen on doing a sequel at all. Oh, 1941 is a noisy mess, but it has a few gags that still make me laugh. And if you turn off AI when he's asking the Blue Fairy to make him a real boy, that movie is outstanding. It's only the last 20 minutes that turdify things.

Spielberg was a producer on three of those. But beyond having a throwaway cameo in Blues Brothers he had nothing really to do with it.

columbia is very broad with his definition of a "Spielberg movie".

Can any Tom Hanks flick really be given the title “guilty pleasure”, though?
