H&S was not a good movie, even for this franchise. Needed to cut about 40 minutes off of it.
Was it good enough for a boring, rainy day with nothing else going on?

Best Picture watch update:

I have no idea how Promising Young Woman got a nom. It’s not a bad movie. I actually enjoyed a lot of it. But it’s not an Oscar movie at all. I doubt this gets nominated in a “normal” year.

Minari was wonderful. Easily the best movie I've seen from 2020 aside from psycho goreman.

You're asserting Under Siege is an example of this?
Fun popcorn action movie. Tits are a bonus.
And I watched Baywatch as a teenager for those sweet sweet action scenes.

I want a picture of them at Maho Beach underneath the daily 747 flight from Amsterdam arriving at Princess Juliana Airport.

I really liked St. Maarten. It's more expensive to call from the French side to the Dutch side, than it is to call NYC from either side. Or was back in 2013 when we were there. And liquor is cheaper per ounce than milk.

Dude's been turning in quality work for well over a decade now. Always a positive addition to any project.

I've heard worse ideas than "Indy 5". I mean, like 2, 3 tops.

Watched how to train your dragon, it's been a while, that movie is so good. Also watched queen live at wembley stadium with the kids. I was pumped.

All of the movies, as well as the TV series, are terrific. I started watching it with my daughter years ago, and finished the series even after she moved onto something else. If they made another movie, I'd be all for it.

Watched most of Inception. That is a silly not good movie combined with being a pretty cool movie at times. I don't think I'd ever watch it again.

I know a guy who met Chris Nolan about 5 years or so before he made Memento. Don't remember the context of the meeting, but they had about an hour of pretty much 1-on-1 time together, during which they talked about narrative storytelling and movies and such. He said even then you could tell he had a completely unique pov as a storyteller; he said he left the conversation thinking, "I hope that guy gets to make some movies, he seems interesting." haha

Gotta say snydercut justice league was way better than I thought it would be. I think I like it the best of bvs and mos rewatches.

That was my last movie in a theater. January or February of last year.

I honestly don’t even remember the last movie I saw in a theater. I want to say it was Endgame, but think that maybe we saw a family movie after that.

Completely. My wife picked it out and I think I groaned a little at the preview. But it’s so good.
