They're only shooting til Friday. I assume they're using the house as a childhood home set. It's just about perfect for that. If I'm correct Hanks wouldn't even be here; but then again, they wouldn't have brought in an 80s Nissan either.

See if you can sneak some BTS filming in. One day it'll be a nice little piece of history like this:

I'm normally tired of the rehashes, but Gibson remaking Peckinpah's finest work? Swoon..

The Shaler Police Chief came by and asked Tom Hanks (probably) to shut our road down completely. Which I'm fine with as people were driving in, getting pissy, and then driving backwards up my street in front of the house at a high rate of speed when they couldn't get down to the set.
So now I get to talk to a security guard every time I go in and out of my driveway. It's like a gated community now.

I have arrived.

Seems more appropriate here than the Video Game thread, but I just unlocked a story mission in Ghost Recon Wildlands where you battle a Yautja. I'm running around the Bolivian jungle, and the frickin' clicky Predator noise is going off in my 3D surround headphones, and it's scaring the bejesus out of me.

Honestly, I'm gonna go do something else in the game. I don't want to deal with this today.

Won't you be my neighbor? hit me hard. What a wonderful man and documentary. It was truly heartbreaking to see a man like him question whether he made a difference.

I'll probably see it because I love McAvoy and Fassbender, but I would rather see Wolverine in there (doesn't even need to be Hugh Jackman) instead of Jennifer Lawrence.

I actually like the Fox X-Men movies but man it's going to be bad ass when they join the MCU.

Actually quite disappointing with that trailer. I want to see the movie because it is the Dark Phoenix. However, that trailer is rather boring, and all that it did was remind me how much Fox has screwed around with origins and storylines.

Also, Mystique's makeup is getting worse and worse every film. "It used to take 4 hours to put it on. They have it down to three minutes and 24 seconds."

Woah. It might take a while in that movie before I stop seeing Tom Hanks and start seeing Mister Rogers.

Turns out a co-worker of mine owns a restaurant. The production rented it for a few days. They're getting tickets to the red carpet and are allowed on set to watch. I wasn't offered anything and they're up in my business for a whole week. :(
