Again predator 2 is not bad but to say it's as good or better than the original or the best sequel ever is crazy.

When you call it the 'greatest sequel ever made', are you limiting that to Predator movies? Or is it your assertion that the movie is better than The Godfather Pt II? Any one of several Star Wars movies? The Dark Knight? Lethal Weapon 2? I could go on, but the list of sequels that are objectively better could fill an whole internet website. Even if you're talking about genre sequels, Aliens is cockblocking your fever dream.

I feel like we're in the scene in Ghostbusters where Venkman is chastising Spengler for trying to drill a hole in his own head. In a year or so we'll be like, "Do you remember that time you said Pred2 was the best sequel ever?" and have a laugh.

Listen, I don't know if it was the Mendocino purple or what, but I've always had a soft spot for the movie and I saw it in an entirely different light last night. I can't even describe how insane this movie is. I think a lot of the appreciation came from watching the original (which is a **** action gift to humanity in itself) the night before, but yeah, I honestly had a conversation with myself while watching if it's better than godfather 2 and I think it is. I also completely understand how crazy that sounds, but I don't think you've watched it recently to quite understand how good it is. I love aliens, but this does a lot more for me coming from the original than aliens does with alien. I hope you all can watch and find the genius in it one day and join me in this glorious nirvana.

I'm already having a laugh about this. It's a completely ridiculous conversation that I absolutely love.

No way it's better than Airplane 2: The Sequel.

Also, the money shot of predator overlooking LA is superior than Batman and Gotham.

But it is not superior to the shot of Batman looking over Hong Kong.

They both invoke awesome feelings inside me! I'm guessing that shot in predator is a nod to those comics.

Just watched hellboy with the kids (may be too early for the little one), man is that a cool movie. I love watching GDT creatures come to life on screen.

Hot Shots Part Deux is a great movie in its own right. Not as good as the original, of course.

Miguel Ferrer's 'War...it's fannnnntastic' line rivals anything Brando said. Ever.

Terrible poster imo. First thing I pictured was the Indian guy from Super Troopers. Looks like an amateur did it.

If you see aviators and that level of mustache and your first thought is anything other than Freddie Mercury, it's a you defect. Never mind all the supporting context clues, geesh.

Downsizing wasn't very good. My expectations were completely misaligned, but even so the story is just not interesting. The core mechanism of the plot, the downsizing, wasn't even really important past the first 30 minutes. I assume it got an R rating for showing a lot of clinical, flaccid dongs.
