I thought Wonder Woman was brilliant and Gal Gadot was as terrific in her role as anyone Marvel has cast in theirs so for the sake of that role, I hope to see Justice League do well. I thought it looked decent in the trailers. I'm skeptical because Suicide Squad just failed to deliver on so many fronts, but maybe Wonder Woman finally got them on the right track.

Bad timing for DC, though. Justice League will open just two weeks after Thor: Ragnarok, which sounds like it may be Marvel's best stand-along film to date. “We play these veterans from like Afghanistan or the Iraq War or whatever. But we’re all **** crazy so we go to the VA hospital to get our meds. We’re all like shellshocked, PTSD soldiers. And he’s a guy they’ve actually marked to kill him because he’s seen a UFO, he’s seen the Predator ships come down so they lock him up and throw him in with us lunatics. Tyrese Gibson, who is apparently broke and has no career outside of these movies, has publicly stated that he won’t be in Fast and Furious 9 if Dwayne Johnson is. Taking on one of the most popular actors in the business, whose mere presence revived your entire franchise, seems like an odd hill to die on .

For those of yinz that don't want to wade through that wall of unreadable nonsense, Tyrese is broke and in a legal battle for custody of his daughter and is pissed that the studio fast tracked a Johnson/Statham spinoff, delaying his eventual check for Fast 9, and is super pissed that Johnson doesn't make his career decisions without thinking about how they effect Tyrese and his family. Dude is a loon. Maybe he should have thought twice about having a Starbucks, hibachi restaurant, night club, recording studio, and salon in his backyard.
