It's the first good SW movie since Empire Strikes Back. I'm not a fan boy, so have need to excuse ROTJ, mind you.

Oh, I see. My living room just has an xbox360, so I watch DVDs on the regular. Didn't think it was that far outdated considering Redbox still has them.

As far as the movie, I've watched everything but Rogue One, and I'll agree that it was the best one since the originals... mostly because it just was the originals.

I haven't watched a DVD in ages. I'm sure some Star Wars snob will come by and say you haven't seen it since you didn't watch it on Blu-ray.
Actually, the only OT Blu-rays available are the poxy 'special editions'. If you want to experience SW, you need a LaserDisc.

Actually, you can watch the OT on DVD on the "Limited Edition" DVDs. Aspect ratio is off and the transfer is awful but I'd rather watch that than the special editions.

I have absolutely no movie collection to speak of. Zilch, nada. Mainly because I know they would just sit there collecting dust. I'm not the kind of person to want to rewatch movies regularly, unless they happen to be on Netflix or one of the movie channels.

I most certainly don't watch movies on basic cable.

I liked John Wick 2
they went too over the top with the whole "everyone is a part of the underground" theme. They should have named Foshburns character Morphius
Still highly enjoyable action.

I was oddly bored by both Lion and Manchester by the Sea.

Currently finishing Mockingjay Part 2. Really bad so far, the lighting is awful and so is the story.

I agree. It was awful.

The wife only watched it because we felt obligated to.

Yeah the first 2 were pretty good. The 3rd seemed rushed and this one was a steaming pile.

To be fair the book Mockingjay was also terrible and was rushed when she wrote it.

While at Hollywood Studios last week, we watched a 10 minute or so preview of Beauty and the Beast. It looks really great.

A dress that Emma Watson wears is on display in the theater. She is tiny.
