Sully was well made, but evidently Eastwood made the NTSB way more adversarial then they are in real life.

Looks like they had at least one real functional F4 Phantom in a flashback scene. That was neat.

Every X amount of years, we're expected to sign off on the idea of musicals.

The answer is still "no."
Always Sunny season premier. The Book of Mormon.

Thus concludes the entire list of musicals in the history of the genre that haven't been excruciating.
Little shop of horrors, Mary poppins, beauty & the beast, most disney movies, my fair lady, blues brothers, bed knobs and broomstick, follow that bird, Muppets, crybaby, and that's all I got off top of my head. All good.
Singin' In The Rain, Les Misérables, Hamilton is supposed to be neat, Tommy......

Speaking of musicals, on Inside The Actors Studio Hugh Jackman said that the single most difficult piece of direction he has ever been given was when he was in Oklahoma! on Broadway. During workups, the show director gave him notes for 'Oh What A Beautiful Morning' and said, "What is your character's motivation for repeating lines of the song? Why do you sing 'All the cattle are standing like statues' twice?" And Jackman was like

White Christmas, that episode of Buffy.

I can't believe Wicked hasn't been made into a movie yet.

By the way, I prefer "Ease on down the road" to "We're off to see the Wizard" and it's not even close.
