"The Tennis Game" is one of my top maybe three or four Williams compositions. I love the kinetic piano underneath the winds....The Witches of Eastwick...

I've never seen Interstellar, but the score is incredible. (I'm a Hanz Zimmer fan, so I tend to just buy his stuff regardless) Always go for the deluxe editions, but I only just learned that that piece was not included in the original release. That would be like not having the anthem on the original release of the Top Gun OST. (That caused physical pain for me to type)

That monkey does a better job of acting than does the Tarzan guy.I smell an Emmy. Or the monkey. Same difference.Damn, I love that chimp.
That chimp was great. Best moment in a Geico commercial.

I watched the witch last night. Im not really a fan of the genre, but i really didnt like it. I didnt know exactly what to expect so this may be all my fault, but i heard people say it was good so i gave it a try. I had no reason to care a out snyone in the movie and basically had no idea what was going on aside from what you could anticipate would happen in a movie called the witch. The witch scenes burned so slow that you felt no sense of dread and there was nothing scary about them.

Oh man, that was the best. Details escape me, but I remember BMG's deal seeming better than Columbia House for some reason, but I forget why. That soundtrack was in the very first BMG Music Service "11 CDs for a penny" that I ever did in like, 1995. Also had a Kris Kross, Ace of Base, Counting Crows, and the soundtracks to Reality Bites and Beavis & Butthead Do America.

In preparation for a victory tonight, watched JAWS last night. Doesn't get much better than that.

Saw Jurassic World for the first time Friday night. For what it was, and what I had set as my expectations for it, it delivered.
Just need to see Star Wars now and I can say I've caught up on movies I want to watch.

I've yet to see the film, but I do know that Tarkovsky was one best film makers ever...

I got Kaiser the OST this past Christmas. I thought it had the docking scene. Not sure. @KaiserBummed.
Finally got around to trying to buy the Interstellar score. Not sure I've ever actually purchased a score.
Turns out Sony released a cut down version of it and never released the most famous song from the movie, the docking scene:

In that it's a horror - and not a slasher - film, The Witch is pretty entertaining.

I remember reading an interview with John Landis (director) a few years ago about the making of that movie.Oh lord, this sounds terrible. BHC3 was terrible and that was over 20 years ago now.Man, 2016 just won't quit ruining things from my childhood.
He said he got the script and knew it was bad, but also said the script to the original was bad too. All the funny/memorable stuff from the first film was not in the script - it was ad libbed or written on set. So he figured between him and Eddie they could make it work.
Eddie wanted nothing to do with that. He thought Axel as a character was mature and grown up know and wouldnt make wisecracks. Landis theorized he was really jealous of the roles Denzel Washington was getting and thought he should be a more serious actor.

I think we're going to be taking my 3 year old to see Finding Dory in the next few weeks, for her first movie in the theater. I can't wait to see the movie, but am worried that she won't be able to sit still for that long.

Finding Dory was awesome, saw it on Friday. The 3D effects are incredible.
My daughter will sit through Toy Story, so I'm thinking Finding Dory shouldn't be an issue.

@NTP66 I would recommend getting some kid sized noise canceling headphones. My kids are very sensitive to loud noises, and the commercials and trailers tend to be much, much louder than the film. And of course the movie is very loud for toddlers as well. We've had ours for years, and my 10 year old won't go to a theater without them.
