WeWork: Or The Making and Breaking of a $47 Billion Unicorn on Hulu is pretty damn good. It's sickening how much money there is out there for these grifters to play with, but not enough to actually do something worthwhile.

Probably issues with filming and/or post production. Top Gun is still this summer, right?

What other anticipated movies are in the can and just sitting there like TG2…which I’m not excited about.

Uncharted got moved to February. I'm getting more excited about that than I thought I would. I'm part of an online community with Nolan North, and he got to visit the location and set in Catalunya. Sony gave him a couple stills from the production (that I think still have not been released publicly yet) to share with his community, and we tried to internet sleuth them for plot clues via Zoom, which was fun.
I mean, basically every movie that was scheduled for release in 2020 and 2021.

As much as I dunk on Top Gun, I give all the credit in the world to Tommy Two Bags for getting a real jet and getting shot off a boat.

The Alpinist on Netflix was one of the best things I've watched in a long time. Absolutely stunning documentary.
Followed that up with The Awful Truth and that made for a nice double feature. oh man, did Cary Grant have us laughing. Highest recommendation as well.

Ever go to a Banff Mountain Film Festival? Those things are fun. There's always a video or two with some daredevil that keeps you on the edge of your seat.

https://www.cnn.com/2022/01/25/entertai ... index.html"I was a little taken aback when they were very proud to cast a Latina actress as Snow White. You're still telling the story of 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.' Take a step back and look at what you're doing there. It makes no sense to me," he told Maron. "You're progressive in one way and you're still making that f---ing backwards story about seven dwarfs living in a cave together, what the f--- are you doing man? Have I done nothing to advance the cause from my soapbox? I guess I'm not loud enough."

Yeah, same here. Really enjoyed it. Thought it was a Falling Down clone, but nope...a lot of fun. This was great. Perfect run time, too.Just watched it, and couldn’t agree more. Definitely better than I expected it to be.I really enjoyed Nobody. Just a fun, violent movie.
No character development. Minimal storyline.
Just action.

Fun fact: The song "We Don't Talk About Bruno" from 'Encanto' cannot win the Oscar for Best Original Song.
The rules are that no more than two songs by the same credited writer(s) can be submitted for wide consideration (the pool this year is 15 songs which will be whittled down to the 5 that will be voted on for the Oscar), and no more than two songs from the same movie regardless of writer(s) can be submitted. To avoid vote splitting, most studios only submit one song. The deadline for submission was three weeks before 'Encanto' was released..... three weeks before Bruno became a phenomenon (the only movie song more successful is "A Whole New World")...... which is why Disney only submitted 'Dos Oruguitas' for consideration. Bruno isn't even eligible for Oscar voting.
