9 hours on the couch of Andy Serkis reading the Hobbit was just as glorious as I thought it would be. What an amazing day.

I watched about 15 minutes. Not even Andy Serkis can get me to buy into any time investment on The Hobbit. haha

Haha, he was such a fantastic reader. It's always been my favorite book, so I definitely have a soft spot for this and it was a truly magical day that I won't forget. Had it piped through the speakers in the house and everyone just laid around and listened. Might be my favorite day of quarantine so far!

I enjoyed The Hobbit novel far more than I thought I would.

I would give anything to have one of those MiB mind erasers that I could use on any books I wanted to re-read again.

Read it out loud to your kids when they are ready, I got very similar results!

Put aside the Josh Gad and just marvel in this, particularly the glory of John Rhys-Davies.

Fun fact, the day the Penguins won the Crosby sweepstakes,I had tickets to the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra's performance of the LotR score with Billy Boyd singing his part from Return of the King (probably got a big payday for like 30 seconds of work). It was one of the best days of my life.
