Smeg appliances are actually pretty high end in performance but relatively affordable compared to other luxury brands. When we were considering remodeling our house in SF I shopped Smeg and Bertazzoni (related but separate companies) options for ranges.

So, I WOULD BUY SMEG, WEENIE.
