I want GMNH 100% tarred and feathered:
On his @937theFan radio show, Neal Huntington said if you run 10,000 simulations on teams that are supposed to be .500 -- he cited preseason projections that had the Pirates around that -- eight times would you run into a 4-24 stretch.
Neal Huntington talking big picture about this season and remaining goals: "You go around the diamond, and yes, there are reasons for concern. But there are also a lot of reasons to celebrate. We’ve got some good, young players here."

So NH bases his roster off of OOTP Baseball? Good to hear.

What are the chances for a front office sweep this offseason? Huntington on down? 50-50?

To add more dumb quotes from him:
@JMackeyPG

Neal Huntington described his approach to pitching improvement for next season as working with the guys they have and maybe adding a Volquez or Happ type.

Right, but that's a given because they weren't spending on money on FAs. I hate even thinking that I like this team. The management always does everything possible to leave a sour taste in your mouth, even when it's not needed.

This team might not win five games the rest of the season.

How can you not be excited about a rotation featuring 3 guys with ERAs in the 5's, a top prospect who's been ruined, and another volquez/happ (read: lyles) type?

Neal has got tah go!

The juiced ball has killed him more than anyone. His stuff isn’t good enough to avoid getting destroyed.

I volunteer the pirates to be relegated. The climb back to the majors would be more interesting than whatever is going to happen the next couple years

Josh bell had more extra base hits at the all star break than anyone in the history of the game, yet somehow has an oWAR (3.1) identical to starling marte

also, jose Osuna has 5th most offensive WAR despite having 11th most at bats on the team

THIS TEAM STINKS

Anyone get fired yet?
I just ran 125,000 computer simulations and none of them had the Pirates firing a GM and a Manger while
having to still pay them.

I'm gonna start up a new franchise on The Show to see how long it takes to get fired while not trying. Will report back with these highly scientific results ASAP.

It’s still amazing to me how archer, musgrove and Williams all sucked so much ass this year. The latter two were regression candidates and the former was a candidate for decline. But this is so far beyond that.
