I doubt the person who dug up the tweets is a LGBTQ ally. Just an ass who probably is as homophobic, but wants to bring Boswell down.
In other words: An HR intern in the front office.

One of the most talent players in a generation... who is adequately replaced by a 3rd round pick in his second season and a 5th round pick in his rookie season.

Something about that doesn't jive.
Yes, I would agree with this. ;)

Perhaps in a few years when Conner is seeking (and may well get) the richest running back deal in NFL history we can revisit this notion of 'replace'.

Don't get me wrong, I was fully on board the Conner wagon. But let's not kid ourselves; he had seven games of production, vs multiple years.
2017 #Steelers with LeVeon Bell:

25.4 points per game
5.8 yds per play
3.8 yds per carry
2.23 points/drive

2018 #Steelers with James Conner, Jaylen Samuels, Stevan Ridley:

27.4 points per game
6.2 yds per play
4.3 yds per carry
2.26 points per drive

I'm looking forward to seeing Bell on a different team so we can finally put all of this "Bell isn't elite, the O-line is" to bed. I don't care what happens either way, I'm just tired of this debate.

I think most sane people would say the answer is both Bell and the O-line are elite.

So...the proof that Bell was replaceable was citing numbers that see the Steelers drop to being one of the worst running teams in the league...?

Is anyone else kind of thinking we're finally going to beat the Pats and not even make the playoffs

O-line is elite. Bell is/ was (to be honest we'll see how he after taking a year off) very good to elite but the jury is out to be able to say with certainty imo

It's a real possibility.

If they were so much as able to get a split with the AFC West this year, the discussion would be moot. They'd be tied with Houston on 10 wins, but ahead of them in the two-seed because of the tie (better win%) and looking at a first round bye. Which would be a nice thing to have in hand with injuries and a 36-year old QB (which you could argue is almost sort of a rolling injury week-to-week at this stage of the season).

The way his season has gone, you almost come away surprised that he didn't throw an INT on the fake vs Denver.
