And Bjork's 'Violently Happy' video.

Have his eyes always looked like he just got stung by a bee?

In February 2005, Reedus sustained a head injury when a truck collided with his car in Germany. His nose was reconstructed with the aid of four screws and his left eye socket with titanium

It's why he wears Sunglasses in public a lot, he gets headaches/migraines from the light because of the injury.

On a human level, it might be the best episode ever.

Somewhat surprising.

Here’s some (real live, not weed) dope would have been more appropriate.

Gonna ride it out to see what the do with Negan. I think it's Netflix going forward after this year.

Carl is not a good a good actor, the character and show though go hand in hand.

People have been pissed about carl’s death because apparently the comics will ultimately be framed as HIS story - not rick’s (according to Kirkman I think?). But here’s the thing. You have a soap opera-caliber actor playing him. He can’t be THe focal point. TV doesn’t work that way. I really think he’s only dead because of the acting. Which is a shame since literally everyone knew he sucked 7 years ago. They had a chance to swap him out but they passed.

This episode was sh*t of course. It could have been the second half of the finale but they stretched 30 minutes of content into 90 somehow. And also we have the trash people coming back next week and compassionate rick is still making the same death threat to negan.

And also where the f*** did that kid come from, really. Come on.

And keep telling us how great the Muslim guy is. Never show us though. Just tell us.

Siddiq is a good character, I think they'll expand on him more - he was just introduced during the second "largest" character death in the show.

Just frustrating because I agree with the Henry thing too, they can hear anything they want up to a mile radius, except when they don't want to hear anything.

So Carl is dead? I don't even remember what happened in the last episode.

And the guy was complicit in that kid’s only family being killed. I think I’ll give him a pass for putting a hole in his neck. But sure...go ahead and yell at him carol.

I just don’t know why I’m bothering anymore. I guess maybe getting rid of the worst actor and the worst character-to-screentime ratio might help. But Maggie becoming a power player does nothing for me. And I truly don’t care what happens to anyone but rick and negan at this point.

And it’s a hell of a plot outline where the last time Carl sees Enid is when he pushes her into a closet 10 years ago. Just as they designed it.

The actress that plays Maggie might be on her way out too. She was just cast in a pilot for a new show.

There are some contract issues coming up too. I think they’ve avoided paying anyone what they deserve up to this point. People think chandler Riggs turning 18 and needing more money is why he was killed. Plausible.

Apparently, this won't interfere with her TWD filming time. It doesn't matter. I think they need to milk this for one more year, finish the Negan storyline, do the whisperers and call it quits at season 10. Either kill everyone or let them go into the future thinking it's all OK.

this episode was totally fine. completely adequate. acceptable, even. the only hilariously bad thing was how they were flashing people's names before each scene. they are so removed from conventional story telling that they thought the audience would be lost without freaking labels for several main characters.

I especially enjoyed the part where Carl spent an hour and 20 minutes telling Rick to change and he spent this entire episode not changing.
