The name flashing was totally unnecessary. Otherwise, the episode was pretty efficient for once.

Yep. But Jadis as the next big bad is not something I want. And it’s happening. I actually don’t mind the character (finally) but she was responsible for people dying and rick getting shot in the side. It wouldn’t have been outrageous for him to shoot her in the face. She should be dead, which makes her a dumb villain. Like the governor after michonne popped his eye out. If you should be dead, don’t be relevant anymore.

The motivations of the trash people ended as they began. Confusing. It was the easiest thing in the world to take them all out. What did they think the end game was? So weirdly flaccid.

I especially like that all of a sudden she reverted back to normal and just spoke as if nothing was wrong, no more fragmented language - nothing.

It seems as if they're setting Jadis up to be Alpha from the whisperers, which would be cool - but Alpha was youngish. Who knows.

why didn't simon kill her?
why was she wearing a night gown that wouldn't have fit under her clothes?
was she raped?
where were her shoes?
why didn't rick kill her?
why didn't rick save her?
why everything?

i also think, if the show was smart, they would pivot this into a scene where negan finds out simon killed all the oceanside men before the community fled. because that massacre really reeeeaaaaally doesn't fit with negan's style. and it now fits with simon's.

I turned off the latest episode after 10 minutes.
I simply can’t be bothered to care any further

You wouldn’t believe it. They had more layup chances to kill the bad guy and they just couldn’t make it happen.

We have a lot of prisoners, we also have severely wounded people who might die. That's ok, though, let's not post any guards and let's all go to sleep.

**** this show.

Yea that's where I checked out too, the second they made it seem like everyone was on Ambien and they had one guard patrolling outside with around 40 prisoners was enough for me. Don't patronize me with even worse writing and plot points than before.

I see they did a whole bunch of deus ex machina and still do anything.

Yeah. I’m two weeks behind and decided to just quit. Maybe I’ll watch some recaps but I just can’t justify giving this show an hour of my time every week.

I liked it, glad they did the comic story for Negan at the end. Not really interested in the future storyline, especially if Maggie isn't signed for season 9.

Well, I decided to finish out the season since I only had two left and needed the closure. I'm now fully convinced that it's time to give up on the show. Thanks, TWD. It was okay.

I was actually relieved that there was no TWD episode this week. I wouldn’t care if the show was cancelled right now. No way that would happen though.

And it still did what? Triple the audience of the next popular cable TV show? It's not going anywhere.

Jersey Shore Vacation a non-sporting, non-Walking Dead franchise show was the next highest at a 1.7.

I stopped watching when the tiger died in the dumbest way possible. I'll watch it all later when it comes to netflix.

I saw the resolution of Negan storyline. I would have preferred it ended the series there and it felt like a series ending. Now I think it'll be overkill, which leads me to believe it's a DVR show now and not a must watch.

The article I took my number from said that Roseanne knocked TWD off its perch.

I feel like if we're discussing to what extent the ratings have declined my premise is already realized.

I stopped watching this show once it turned into a Sy-fy original. As soon as the phony, goofy looking Army guy showed up with the doctor that knew how to stop it all I was done.
