The Crimson Tide landed ESPN 300 running back Trey Sanders, ESPN 300 offensive lineman Evan Neal and flipped ESPN 300 safety Jordan Battle from Ohio State on Wednesday. That haul helped Alabama get to 21 ESPN 300 commitments, which is tied for the most the Crimson Tide have ever had in one class.

The addition of Neal on Wednesday gave Alabama commitments from four ESPN 300 offensive linemen, three of whom are ranked as top-10 tackles in the class. Sanders chose the Tide over Georgia, Texas and Florida and was the second running back commit in the class for Alabama, along with Keilan Robinson.

Alabama finished the 2018 cycle ranked No. 6 overall, and it now looks nearly impossible for the coaches to relinquish the No. 1 spot in 2019.

That ND strip in western PA is interesting. And annoying.

First Responder Bowl which might actually have been interesting between BC and Boist st canceled due to thunderstorms.

Must be really bad, can’t imagine them totally leaving the teams and fans who had traveled hanging if there was any way to get it in.

So... an ACC coastal team that went 5-3 in conference got spanked by a B1G west team that was 3-6 in conference.

I know their coach is out, but still. Yikes.

Classy move by BC to refund all BC fans as well as give them freebies to any on-campus event for 2019.

FWIW, Servpro was the sponsor of the game. Their motto - ‘like it never happened’.

The B10 West champion lost by two touchdowns to the 6th best team in the Coastal.

And both of those losses were in Evanston. But they were 8-1 in conference. Hmmmmmm....

This game between Cal and TCU has been the dumbest game I’ve ever watched. 10-7 TCU wins in OT. There were 9 picks in the game, 5 by a pair of Cal QBs. TCU missed a FG to win in regulation then had to start their possession in OT at the 40 after a sideline penalty on a pick on Cal’s possession. TCU’s QB was 7 of 20 for 27 yards and 4 INT. Really bad football.

I looked at the o/u for that game and it was 39...I was thinking "what in the world?" but I didn't remember anything about those two teams so I just left it alone...but wow, that sounds awful...

It might be the worst game I’ve ever watched that wasn’t played in poor weather. The game was in Phoenix in a stadium with a retractable roof.
