Should've been gone before the season started anyway.

Agreed.

This will definitely throw some chaos into the coaching ranks. I'd hate to be another P5 school looking for a new coach right now.

Now all Penn State fans need is to replace their joke of a coach with a real one, and they might have a chance to beat tOSU.

Jokes on you! They've had their chance the last two seasons. They just blew it both years!

To say that he is not well-liked or fondly remembered in Gainesville would be a massive understatement.

Watch him go and coach the Browns.

Defense played better when Ryan Day was coaching during the suspension anyway. Don't think the team will miss much of a beat coaching-wise.

Urban was 82-9 at OSU. Never lost to Michigan right? Day coached with Urban's players. Day might be very good but I don't know if that's a certainty by any means

Will Grier is the latest to skip his bowl game to focus on the 2018 NFL draft.

I'm genuinely shocked that Kyler Murray won the Heisman

The Inquisition had nothing on these zealots.

Wonder how much penance he'll have to perform?
As of early Sunday morning, four offensive tweets using an anti-gay slur remained active on the Heisman winner's account.

lol, 15 years old. The only difference between him at 15 and us at 15 is that he had access to Twitter. I thank my lucky stars every day that we didn't have social media in high school.

Good lord. He called his friends queers when he was 15 years old? What a monster. I’m fully with Shad on being grateful Twitter wasn’t around when I was 15. I’d be jettisoned into the sun by now.

Edit: was also not aware that he was selected by the A’s right before the Pirates selected Swaggerty and that his football career ends when this season does.

Jack Allison getting snaps is a plus. He’s going to be really freaking good, WVU will win 9 games again next year with him at QB.

K State hired Chris Klieman, North Dakota State's coach to replace Snyder. Seems like a great hire imo, but their fans are very Mad Online on the twitter about this.. anyone know more about this situation?

He has NDSU competing for a FCS title every season. Sounds like a good hire to me.

K State fans need to remember they are K State and Their biggest achievement in 122 years of football has been an 11-0 start in 1998. After which they vomited all over themselves in the 4th quarter up 27-12 in the Big XII title game and played in the Alamo Bowl.

Pretty sure he even beat K State a few years ago as well. I'd be pumped if I was them

There was an NDSU fan that called in to Mark Packer's show a week or so ago that explained a lot of this. K-State's current AD is Gene Taylor, who came aboard in April 2017. Taylor was AD at NDSU from 2001-14. Taylor helped get NDSU from Division II to Division I FCS, and then was the AD who oversaw the beginnings of NDSU's run of FCS success - they've won six of the last seven FCS titles, the first few under Craig Bohl (now at Wyoming) and the last few under Chris Klieman, who was Bohl'd DC at NDSU.

They're now honked off because...their old AD came and hired Klieman, I guess? Apparently, the NDSU fanbase doesn't understand that this is how the industry works - AD/Coach starts at smaller program, builds it up, and then eventually moves on to a job with a higher ceiling/pay grade if they want to. Granted, some coaches never do, but this happens all the time.

Ah I see. I'm gonna guess that there was someone they really wanted.. going out on a limb some K State alum, and now they're pissed the AD brought his buddy along. There are a lot worse buddies to bring along, however. Seems like a decent AD/Coach team
