Pitt was ahead of the game in the "Let's hire that dude that was good once at our university and then dumped us" hiring practice.
We even do it with ADs!

Statement from McKenzie Milton's family:

"His blood flow has been restored to his right leg and his nerve is injured but intact. He is recovering and healing and is receiving the best medical care. At a later time, he will have reconstructive surgery to repair his knee."

"...restoring bloodflow..." did he suffer the same kind of injury Zack Miller had last year?

1. Bama
2. Clemson
3. ND
4. UGA
5. OU
6. tOSU

Thank god they kept OU in front of tOSU (sorry @MR25). I cannot envision a realistic scenario in which OSU can leap OU if both win. No one cares if OSU blows out the worst division champ of the P5 conferences, and Texas is 9-3 and ranked 14th compared to 21st for NU. Even a tight win vs. a blowout shouldn't do it. Right? RIGHT???

If OU wins, who are their wins? Texas, WVU, is anyone else in the Big 12 ranked?

OSU will have wins over UPS, trouncing of Michigan, NW (which I'd put in the same boat as OU over ISU)

I mean it's pretty darn close to be honest.

I honestly think based on resumes so far OSU should be above OU by a paper thin margin and the win over Texas would jump them over OSU. The fact that they're already above OSU isn't good for Ohio State

OSU has been nothing of note all year and shouldn't be in the conversation really...it's just a name brand at this point...Oklahoma deserves it more, even with their weak defense...

If Indiana had Ohio State's record they wouldn't be in the conversation.

Very similar resumes when you take the names away, and OSU might have the most impressive win in the country? I don't enjoy sticking up for OSU much but it's closer than most want to admit

OSU has the #5 strength of record and OU is #6. 1-4 Strength of record has made the playoff every year except one, in which 3 of the top 4 made it in

Maybe Georgia will win the SEC and make it all moot anyways.

Baylor and TCU learned in the first iteration of this farce that the penultimate ranking doesn't mean ****.

Oklahoma's one loss was on a last-second FG to Texas. If they avenge that win at JerryWorld, they have every advantage over a Suckeye team that got blasted out of West Lafayette.

And only one of them beat a top ten team. By 30.. suppose it comes down to personal preference of who you beat vs who you lost to.

I'd also like to add that it doesn't matter. Bama is beating the 4 seed by 30 either way.

lol, this is the important point. It is ultimately whichever team has the right to get crushed by Alabama. Obviously there are financial and recruitment considerations too.

The fact the word "resume" is used in so much of the commentary is a large part of the problem.

Georgia Tech coach Paul Johnson is expected to retire, sources tell ESPN. Assistant coaches have been pulled off of the recruiting trail, and a team meeting is set for 2:30 p.m.

End of an era at GA Tech...I wonder if that will be the end of the flexbone option?
