Any PSU fan getting a boner over this is disgusting.
The only enjoyment out of this is seeing Urban Meyer's legacy get destroyed. The guy is a piece of sht that has gotten away with murder throughout his career, and the chickens finally came home to roost. The story itself is terrible and disheartening.

The BWI McAndrew board is my go to for this subject. This will be my last post here related to it.
It's odd to have a go to for PSU boners, but okay.

I'm sure that is where all the rational discussion is taking place

We all say Pantherlair is a good place to go every now and then for a good laugh.

Every message board has their crazies. But it’s nice having the upper hand on most of the teams we play right now. Enjoying it while we can and hoping it keeps up - under Coach Franklin, I believe it can. Opposing team fans are noticeably upset that he’s looking to be the real deal.

BWI is notable primarily for its lack of non crazies.

Some Pitt clown is trying to throw **** at Coach Franklin for reinstating Manny Bowen. Dude is getting scolded so hard on Twitter he doesn’t even know what to say.

Somebody tell these @ssholes that Urban Meyer wouldn't spit on them if they were on fire. He'd probably just do it for fun tho.

None of those look like they'd be current students, which I guess is a plus.

I just saw an ad featuring all of the B1G coaches imploring Xfinity to not drop the Big Ten Channel...I didn't even realize this was a potential thing?

https://www.nj.com/rutgersfootball/inde ... games.html
Comcast, which has 22 million television subscribers and 18 million internet subscribers nationally and reportedly has one million in New Jersey, has already pulled Big Ten Network off its television packages in states outside the Big Ten footprint ahead of its expiring contract with the Big Ten and Fox on Sept. 1.

Once the deal expires, chances are all Comcast subscribers will lose access to football games broadcast on BTN and FS1, Silverman said last month.
A statement on KeepBigTen.com reads:

"Comcast subscribers across the country are at risk of losing BTN and Big Ten football games on FS1 on September 1. We have offered Comcast proposals with rates that are in-line with what other distributors are paying; however, Comcast has not substantively responded to any of our renewal proposals, yet stopped offering BTN to subscribers outside of the conference's home markets.

"We love Big Ten football as much as the fans and feel a responsibility to alert Comcast subscribers of the real possibility that they may lose BTN and Big Ten football games on FS1.''

An ESPN investigation: Sources describe a toxic culture inside #Maryland’s football program through humiliation, bullying and verbal abuse.

I’d be frustrated too if I was the constant doormat for PSU, OSU and Michigan. But verbal abuse? Come on...

Player died too. Please take this opportunity to remember Penn State has a culture problem.

Going to the Big 10 for Maryland is like Tulane rejoining the SEC.

In all seriousness, it's fine to live in the present and celebrate their current success (even if it seems a bit wasted by not making a college football playoff yet...), but to pretend that there isn't/wasn't a culture problem surrounding PSU football is just stupid. There's probably a culture problem with sports, especially college sports, in general, but the case at PSU was one of the worst. Saying stuff like "Please take this opportunity to remember Penn State has a culture problem." not only isn't helpful to the cause of moving on, but further shows there's a problem in the first place.
