Mini-Shad jinx?

People are gonna take UCF even less seriously if they keep playing defense like sieves in these big games. Fortunately, they locked it down in the 2nd half vs Memphis and tonite, the last 8 mins. But at some point, they will run into a better defensive team and that win streak will die.

the unfortunate thing is they were a much better team last year. They're ranked higher this year based on their success last year, and I can't be upset because they did get the shaft. But if they sneak into the CFP somehow (moot point anyway, not happening), they'd get smoked. I think last year they were much closer to a top 5-10 team

Great slate of games this weekend. Best of the season. Would love to see Kentucky win.

Alabama two touchdown favorites on the number 3 team in the country on the road. Lol.

Alabama gets a gift targeting call. **** bullshit. They already are benefiting from a gift first half suspension of LSU’s best defensive player.

James Carville suggests there is a conspiracy in the SEC to benefit Bama.

The team people wanted in the Big XII gets beat by like 70 points today (Louisville) while Big Dick Dana and WVU walk into Austin with a last second score and 2pt conversion.

Are you talking about the one on the Bama TD? They overturned that one.

That was posted before it was overturned. I’m also mentioning Devin White’s one too.

So it’s ok for a Bama player, to kick an LSU player in the head and taunt the crowd. In the WVU/Texas game, WVU was flagged twice for doing the “ Hook ‘em horns” upside down.

They look beatable. LSU lacks even a shitty offense. I think Alabama could have trouble with a team like Michigan. Great defense and average offense. Tua looks like a a Nick Satan system qb to me.

Interesting that the ref on the Notre Dame payroll nearly gave the Irish a stop on the goal line when the ballcarrier was still moving and got overruled by the far official who rightly called a TD. C'mon NW!!

Being an Alabama fan must be like being a sex addict. Something that should be pleasurable (winning and sex) are not very pleasurable at all.

Even when you don’t win, you still get rewarded too.

A 22-year-old falcon mascot of the Air Force Academy was injured during the football team's trip to New York to face Army this weekend.

The Colorado Springs Gazette reported that Aurora, a well-known school mascot for over two decades, suffered an injury to both wings when she was abducted by West Point cadets in a prank gone wrong.

The injury could require the bird to be euthanized because of its age, Air Force sources told the newspaper.

"USAFA mascot Aurora was injured over the weekend and is being transported back to Colorado," academy spokesman Lt. Col. Tracy Bunko told the Gazette. "We have specialists at the academy who have the best training and facilities for her care. She is part of our academy family and we are all hoping for her full and speedy recovery."

Aurora has been an Air Force mascot for over 20 years. Brian Losness/USA TODAY Sports
Army and Navy have a long tradition of stealing each other's mascots ahead of games, but no one had previously been able to take an Air Force falcon.

West Point cadets took Aurora from an Army colonel's home, according to the Gazette.
