That's overblown.. it was more like 5, and three of them that people are counting got ejected in the UCF game, so that's a stretch to count them. And a few of those injuries happened long before the Fiesta Bowl. One was out since the beginning of October. They were definitely shorthanded but the 9 starters out thing I've heard is not quite based in truthLSU missed, like, 9 starters on defense? Not a joke. They went toe to toe with LSU without a 1st string guy.UCF with Milton is a top 4 team don't @ me
Alabama and Clemson were the class of the field, and then you had this log jam of respectably good teams. I don't know how you can differentiate 3-8th (Florida is drastically over-rated).

About the only reason I like moe's is because of the salsa bar... the food quality (and risk of food poisoning unfortunately) is better at chipotle.

...Nebraska?might wanna take the odds at Westgate then..Nittany Lions and Mountaineers finish the season ranked.
Lions have the 6th best odds to win the National Championship next season, per Bovada. Only Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, OSU and Michigan higher.

I'm quite secure that PSU is above average but their ceiling until proven otherwise is fringe top 10 maybe a little higher if the wind blows correctly.SOME Penn State fans are quite insecure.

Serious question. Is UPS a top 25 team without Trace?

We are who we thought we were... OSU, Mich, MSU, lost to all three. That's who we are.
WE ARE?

Probably. Stevens is more than capable, and we saw flashes of good stuff from Clifford as well.Serious question. Is UPS a top 25 team without Trace?

I was never impressed with Trace. Barkley carried the team so this past year wasn't surprising (looking at who they beat and who beat them). I would say they won't be worse without him but could be better.

Cliff + Tommy are very capable FBS starting QB's.
The talent on this roster alone basically ensures they will never win less than 8-9 games (if you dispute this, note that even with the sanctions they didn't dip below 7).
I look at the 2019 schedule... and this is an iffy practice given the 2018 season literally just ended, so much can happen between now and August/Sept, etc., but oh what the hell.
I see wins against Idaho, Buffalo, Pitt, Indiana, Rutgers, Purdue, @ Maryland, @ Minnesota. Not that ALL of those games will be easy - namely Minnesota and Purdue could be tough. But those are all games that we generally win, and should be expected to win.
Willing to bet a 9th win against Michigan St should be due, and PSU has had Iowa's number of late, but @ Kinnick is never easy, especially if it's at night.
And here we are again at Franklin's bugaboo, Ohio St/Michigan. He has proven he can beat both, but never in the same season. Most teams would struggle to beat them both in the same season. But given how close some of the games have been against OSU in particular... it's frustrating, no doubt.

Difference between this year's Trace vs. past two years Trace (other than the late-season injury) was that he didn't have a Godwin or a Hamilton or a Gesicki to make the big catches or the 50/50 jump balls. Trace's receivers this year were below average, especially the upperclassmen.I was never impressed with Trace. Living in state college as part of the ups cult obviously breaks your brain and destroys any concept of ethics or morality so congrats to Wade for getting out before it’s too late. I mean, these insane reptiles would probably be most at home doing PR work for murderous regimes abroad now that they’re done terrorizing children and their families here in the States.

Oh.But Jay Paterno has also found post-football work. In May 2017, he was elected to a seat on Penn State’s board of trustees. And now he seems to have found some freelance employment with a “news” website funded by the government of Saudi Arabia.
“My visit to Saudi Arabia changed all my perceptions” is the headline of Jay Paterno’s new op-ed in the Arab News, a subsidiary of the Saudi Research and Marketing Group, which is closely connected to the Saudi royal family.
Paterno’s column comes with a big block quote that reads “The crown prince’s visit to a number of countries played a great role in highlighting the potential and investment opportunities in the Kingdom.”
The column did not mention anything else about the Saudi crown prince.
