I love college football. Holy hell what a fourth quarter performance by this Purdue offense. Receiver just literally ran over multiple Buckeyes on that last score.

The Tyler Strong story tonight makes this even more impactful. Happy he got to see this in person.

So the Clemson-NC State rivalry has heated up a little bit over the last few years.

After last year’s game, NC State’s whining head coach complained about an illegal laptop on Clemson’s sideline. There was one, but it was used by the social media/PR people.

So for this year’s game, the coaching staff added a large cartoon laptop icon to the defensive play call placards...just to troll NC State.

Pretty good game for the Tigers yesterday. They are the deepest Clemson team I’ve seen in my 25+ years of watching them. They used 54 players in the first quarter, and 80 something for the entire game. 12 different players caught passes.

Meh, I don’t get it. Clemson wouldn’t have complained about an illegal laptop on the NCST sideline ?

After spygate all this stuff is sensitive.

Nah, they would have complained if it was legit. Doeren is a sore loser/whiner in the Bryan Murray/Eugene Melnyk mold.

A 49-year old male fan intentionally jumped off the upper deck of Milan Puskar Stadium during West Virginia’s game against Baylor on Thursday night, according to a university release.

The man was in Section 134 and climbed and jumped over the wall of the South Concourse after engaging in verbal altercations with fellow fans. He fell on to a concrete concourse, the report stated.

Contemporary Services Corporation Event Staff, University police, State Police and emergency crews responded immediately, and he was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital for treatment.

His name was not released and there was no word on how seriously he was injured.

So our friends at UCF decided to capitalize on the opportunity of College Gameday being at Jacksonville tomorrow and rented a couple of buses for fans to go and support their Knights. They have a bye week and with the bad opinions spewed last week on the show about them, Knights fans decided to show Gameday how they felt about their team...and probably Gameday’s opinion. It wasn’t all students going. There were, according to the story, all ages of the population signed up to go. Given that Gameday likely won’t ever come to UCF and this being the first time within a decent drive’s distance, why not go see the popular show?

The buses were canceled after veiled threats on Twitter by Florida (mostly) and UGA fans that UCF fans would be pepper sprayed, have their signs ripped away, and should make sure their healthcare is up to date. What’s wrong with people?

Their toughest opponents do come at the end, so guess that's when we'll find out a lot about that team.

Mens vs. boys in Tallahassee today.

As someone who has watched Clemson since 1990 or so, to go down there and manhandle a FSU team there is pretty unbelievable.

A day after reinstating him, Maryland fired Durkin. What an absolute shtshow. I was reading the comments section on Testudo Times, and it's about as horrendous as you could expect. The guy is garbage and they should have never reinstated him in the first place.

The Twerps have a lot of economic problems and they thought they could avoid a buyout by bringing that clown back. Instead, they now have a giant PR mess on their hands. They had convened a blue-ribbon panel of alumni that included a former governor, former Redskins QB Doug Williams, and journalist Bonnie Bernstein (a former Twerp gymnast). That panel generated a report that recommended that Durkin be retained in part because he was a first-year head coach who was assuming responsibilities that he had never had before because he was just a positional coach. I wish I could say I made that up. I also don't think they were prepared for the player revolt that occurred when he was reinstated yesterday. There were players that walked out of a meeting and some that went to Twitter with their negative thoughts. Just from an on-the-field standpoint, the Twerps are better off without that dolt and there's no way that the current players could stomach playing for a guy that had principles that led to their teammate's death nor would his retention have done anything positive to recruiting.

Bill Murphy, the attorney for the McNair family, spoke about the altercation on Wednesday.

“A pro-Durkin football player, a punter, who was brought in from Australia after being recruited at Durkin’s last stop, a fellow who had been soliciting support for Durkin the entire time, walked up to this young player, another punter, who was rumored to be a whistle-blower against Durkin, and he punched him viciously in his face,” Murphy said, apparently referring to punter Wade Lees hitting Matt Barber. “He received stitches on the premises. This happened just [Tuesday]. He had to get an MRI because he also suffered a separated shoulder. This was within two hours after Durkin’s return. Obviously, he felt empowered to act that way because of the coach’s return.”

A source told the school’s newspaper it was not one-sided.

“It wasn’t just [Lees] hitting Matt Barber tho,” a source texted The Diamondback.
Many people are saying that Maryland seems like a good ethical and moral fit for the B10.
