Not surprising.
In the end it looks like all he did was lie at Media Days. He reported the incidents he heard about, and then since the school didn’t take action he figured they weren’t really credible.
I think Urban’s a slimeball, but this sounds more like tOSU failed than he did.

I think in reality he knew exactly what was going on, since his wife was close to the situation. He should have fired the dude long ago, but he did the bare minimum he was supposed to do and passed the buck.

Ohio State suspended Urban Meyer three games (Rutgers, Oregon State, TCU) for his lying and cover up. I'm kind of happy he's sticking around, it will be even easier to root against them (not that it wasn't already).

My opinion on Urban has soured considerably during this process. Only Donald Trump seems to change his stories more than Urban did throughout the past month-ish.

The above not also considering that he let a wife abuser stay on his staff for almost 10 years after the original incident (that we know of).

As for O$U - I was really hoping Urban’s first game back was in State College - but he gets a warm up against Tulane. Lucky for him. He’ll need it.

National pundits Barrett Salee and noted Bucknutter Herbie are very high on Penn State. Starting to think it could be a special year.
