TTech just suffocating Sparty on D, though Sparty is making it pretty easy for them by being so stagnant with the ball. This Mooney kid for Tech has been outstanding.

Think it's more likely Virginia wins, but Texas Tech has hot shooters...so wouldn't be surprising.

Lost in all of the controversy surrounding the final foul on the three-pointer.

Refs completely missed the blatant double dribble when Ty Jerome was trying to bring the ball up the court for the Cavs. He dribbled it off his foot and lost possession, which should have ended his dribble and made the final play never even happen.

Also, in a "this grinds my gear" comment here is my annual complaint against the start time of the National Title game.

9pm on a school night is not exactly good for reaching the young people with the sport.

It’s all about the West Coast viewing audience. If One Shining Moment happens before midnight most years, it’s a miracle. The game itself should only take 2 hours (less with 2 defensive teams this year) but with interminable TV timeouts and an extended halftime, it goes much longer. But it’s not gonna change anytime soon.

UVA-Tech

Might be more points if they had a football game

Also I understand the dollars behind the 9pm start but I still reserve the right to say it sucks

I am definitely not a die-hard (college) sports fan, so can any of the resident CBB experts give an unbiased opinion of how good/bad new Razorbacks coach Eric Musselman is? (I kind of liked how his predecessor, Mike Anderson, handled himself, so I am not that excited about the change in the first place.)

I think Musselman will keep the up-tempo style that Arkansas fans are accustomed to. But I don’t know if his demeanor is suited for the stresses of the SEC schedule. I think he’s wound too tight much like his father is. Sports Illustrated did a nice article on him and his father’s influence back in December. It’s a good read so you should go look it up. He had a really good amount of talent on that team this year but they fizzled out by mid-February.

I hate when the overturn a call like that when a team knocks the ball out of bounds.

Such an asinine way for the game to end.
