The Red Flash made a nice run at it.

If they win today the most local team to my house will be St Bonaventure.

This is the first time since 2000 that not one team among Pitt, Penn State, West Virginia, or Robert Morris made the NCAA tournament.

Ha. PSU > Pitt in hoops this year, the last 3 years, and probably going forward more often than not.

As for the UNC slight - still a one seed, winnable bracket, winnable tournament.

The only slight for UNC is they are a busted shoe away from being a 2 seed.

They had a nice run in the 00's, but generally speaking, the best they can hope for is being anywhere from the 5th to 10th best team in the ACC. And if Jeff Capel does propel them to that point, he will absolutely leave them for a better job when he has the opportunity.
