Hawkeye finale was satisfying enough.
I hope that's not the last of King Pin.
Yeah, I agree with the spoiler as well.
So Laura Barton appears to be Agent 19, aka Mockingbird. Adrienne Palicki sort of played this character in Agents of SHIELD. Will we see the Bartons in future Marvel films? Or are they done?

I wouldn't mind seeing more Kate Bishop in the MCU as well.
So that ending...
Was Clint implying that Kate Bishop is going to take over the Hawkeye role?

That's what I took from it. But then Laura's watch/Agent status was revealed. Would it be weird to have her in the MCU but not Clint?

See I didn't get the watch thing at all since I don't know the comics. And yeah, it would be weird. Unless it's her turn to go super hero while he stays home with the kids. Her character is ONLY wife and mother. I'd be interested in something a little more substantial for her, especially because I really like Linda Cardellini. She's been very underused as a stay at home mom.

I had to Google it tbh. My knowledge of Marvel comics is late 80s-early 90s, so outside of that, I have to Google it.
But yes, I'm a big Linda Cardellini fan. Have been since Freaks and Geeks lol

Same. Definitely had a crush on Lindsay Weir.

Why are we using spoilers to discuss how much everyone loves Linda Cardellini.

Spider man was excellent. Fan service done to perfection.
I actually said out loud "Hell yes!" When Matt Murdock was on screen
We saw a trailer for a Sony/Marvel film with Jared Leto as Morbius, set in the Venom universe. I was not aware this was a thing, nor am I familiar with the character.

No Way Home was great.
Really surreal to see all of those characters in the same film. I have to admit, I still think Into the Spider-Verse did it better but this is really really close.

I'm a little confused though. The end seems to hint that Spider-Man is returning to the simple friendly neighborhood superhero but it's not like the Avengers will forget him. They just no longer know his secret identity. They also wouldn't really care who he is. So what changed? Also what is the Disney/Sony relationship like these days? I know Sony had originally planned to separate from the MCU with n entirely different Spider-Man 3 but Tom Holland cried to Iger to make this happen. Now what?

Yeah it's not an easy watch. One thing did really surprise me:
DC characters are directly referenced. Karun is described as Alfred to Kingo's Batman and Ikaris is confused for Superman. This has to be the first time a DC character was referenced by name in a Marvel film. In the same way that nobody ever thought we'd get a huge Marvel universe that brought every character together in one film in the Avengers, imagine if we get a legit DC/Marvel crossover movie.

I ended up enjoying Eternals after the 40 minute mark or so. More than shang chi.

I think i bought the first moon knight volume 3 comic in the 90s.

The term "super hero" (two words) is a jointly held trademark of Marvel and DC. When used in marketing, Marvel retains approval authority if only one or both have IP represented in the assets. If third party IP is included the approval is case-by-case and must be in writing. This IP registration is why The Incredibles are referred to as "supers".
