Source of the post The sister becomes Black Panther? That would make sense in a real kingdom, but can she carry the film and franchise? I don't know.
No, thanks.

I thought I saw something that kilmonger is back. I don't know anything more than that, but he'd obviously be able to carry the movie, just don't know how you would get him into that. Most obvious would be get Shuri in there and then pass reigns to w'kabi or m'baku. Wouldn't they have to have a trial by combat regardless?

M'baku, on the other hand, I would watch him as a lead in the next film.

Oh if they can somehow bring Michael B Jordan back from the dead, I'd be all in on that.

That's my guess. Also Eric Bana is in it, was he in a previous marvel movie (besides hulk)?

I don't think so. And his Hulk isn't canon. Unless they are really going all in on the multiverse.

Shuri has been Black Panther in the comics but I don't think Letitia Wright has the acting chops to carry a franchise. I would definitely be in favor of M'baku taking over the role.

Speaking of Hulk, after watching the Norton movie I was reading a few articles and somehow I missed that Tim Roth will be back as Blonsky/Abomination in She-Hulk. That character should be awesome because Roth is awesome. Hopefully they right the wrongs of Norton's film.

Just finished Phase 1 of my rewatch with The Avengers. The Avengers is the first of the series that feels like modern Marvel movies. The solo movies are great (well, aside from Incredible Hulk) but all of them except Iron Man lack a lot of the levity of the later Marvel films. Avengers takes the more stilted characters like Thor, Hulk, and Cap and gives them a much needed lighter side.

I might take a bit of a break before going into Phase 2 but Phase 1 was a very enjoyable rewatch.

Disney must have had a big event, because a bunch of release dates were mentioned.

Loki comes to D+ on June 11th

Spiderman 3: No Way Home is in theaters(!) Christmas 2021

I lied and didn't take a break. Just finished Avengers Ultron and aside from the really badly done love story between Banner and Natasha, it wasn't nearly as bad as I remembered. Iron Man 3 and Thor 2, on the other hand...

Interesting penultimate episode of WandaVision this week. What I found most interesting is ...
they retconned Wanda's abilities. Now she has always been a witch but the mind stone brought out the full strength of her powers. So, she's no longer just a Hydra experiment. Apparently Marvel was unable to call them "mutants" because Fox owned that term. But now that Disney owns everything in the world, mutants are back on the menu, boys.

Agree. I feel like she should have been able to defeat Thanos after watching this though
