Lol, of course you hate it.
Marvel Thread (Movies, Comics, etc)
That’s right. Give me a 2 hour movie that actually matters. 6 episodes is too long for the rest of the Disney+ shows. Why should I think 18 episodes will be better?

Solid counterpoint

18 episodes is about 6 too many for a season IMO. Tighten **** up and do 11 or 12 solid episodes or just do a movie.
The daredevil seasons on Netflix were just about perfect.

Skull isn’t a consistent wet blanket, so he gets a pass with his bad opinion.

My wet blanketness is directly related to phase 4’s mediocrity. It’s entirely directionless and the only real home run was Spider-Man, a character who is likely finished in the MCU (at least Tom Holland’s Spider-Man). That’s not really a hot take.
And I praise things when they’re deserving, like the first few episodes of Ms Marvel or that fantastic Black Panther 2 teaser.
The Disney+ series have been largely disappointing. And the fact that Marvel has proven that they’re inconsequential makes even the enjoyable episodes feel pointless. Strange 2 ignored Wanda’s growth in WandaVision and basically redid her character’s storyline. It also ignored what Loki set up in regards to the time keepers. I’m assuming some of the stuff set up in Falcon or Hawkeye will come back around but as of now none of the 5+ hour series have held any weight within the MCU.

I love all the marvel shows, definitely get the criticism, but I have a blast watching them with the family.

- I thought every season of Daredevil would have benefited from at least one less episode along with longer run times. There were a couple 30ish minute episodes that could have been broken up over the course of a season to make things flow better.
- Phase 4 has been a directionless mess but on the surface that at least seems to be changing based on the timelines announced yesterday.
- I give it less than a .1% chance that Tom Holland is done in the MCU. People liked Venom for the insane mess it is, but the sequel sucked and Morbius once again proved that Sony doesn't know what they're doing. They need Marvel to guide their money making ship, Tom Holland is in a position to demand a Robert Downey Jr. level deal to keep playing the role, and I don't think anyone would be happy with No Way Home being the last we see of the character.

I hope Holland is still interested in playing the character and Marvel backs up the money truck for him. He’s great in that role and Marvel can’t afford to lose another big name.
That said, if he is gone, I’d love to see Miles Morales in the MCU.

OK, you've piqued my interest. Not sure where Ghost Rider fits in, but I'm interested.

I really liked how Gabriel Luna played Ghost Rider in S.H.I.E.L.D., and would love it if he found a way back into that role. Gosling... I just can't picture that one.

He has to be better than Nicolas Cage.

Now this looks like fun. MCU cameos, too...and stay to the end.
Marvel Thread (Movies, Comics, etc)
Watched it over the weekend and I agree. Every character is a buffoon and because of that the film never really feels like it has any stakes. This feels a Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer parody movie.Thor 4 was hot garbage.

On a positive note, Thor's runtime was perfect. Give me more >2 hour Marvel movies please.
