I'm not gonna lie: I've seen every Bond film release weekend in a theater since the Dalton films, but I'm not comfortable sitting in a theater for three hours for this one. I watched Fast 9 over the summer (low COVID numbers) and Venom a few weeks ago (empty local theater), but I'm not feeling it right now.

Exclusive: Charlie Cox Co-Starring In Spider-Man 4
Spider-Man: No Way Home is finally coming to theaters on December 17, 2021. When it does, all kinds of reveals are expected to be made. While Marvel continues to deny that the movie will have multiple Spider-Mans breaking through the multiverse, many consider it to be the worst kept secret in Marvel history. There are also reports that Charlie Cox will appear in the movie. The appearance of Charlie Cox as Daredevil in a Spider-Man movie is something audiences would like to see, but so far, we don’t have any confirmation on whether he’s in No Way Home. We did go digging, though, and found something else. Thanks to some work from our trusted and proven sources, we’ve exclusively learned that Charlie Cox signed a deal to co-star in Spider-Man 4 as Daredevil.

The timing for this couldn’t be more perfect. With Spider-Man: No Way Home releasing soon, the studio is making plans for Spider-Man 4. Meanwhile, Marvel Studios has had control over their Defenders characters for a while now, and fans are waiting to see how they’ll be reintroduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Charlie Cox, as Daredevil, has earned a lot of love from fans. While we were able to learn that he’s signed a deal to co-star in the movie, we weren’t able to learn what his role will entail for Spider-Man 4. There’s a lot of room for how to use his character and his dual nature.

Daredevil is his superhero name and his identity on the streets at night. During the day, he’s Matt Murdock, lawyer, abiding by the oaths he’s taken to follow the law. One of the main reasons audiences are expecting to see Charlie Cox in Spider-Man: No Way Home is that Tom Holland’s Peter Parker is facing some legal troubles wherein he needs a lawyer. Many are expecting that Matt Murdock will show up to help him. Will Matt Murdock, a lawyer, be the important role that Charlie Cox’s character fulfills in Spider-Man 4? Or will audiences see Cox mostly as a hero fighting along with Spider-Man? It’s entirely possible that he’ll be fulfilling both roles, which would be excellent for fans, since that would mean Charlie Cox has a lot of screen time.
Hell. ****. Yes.

I saw a clickbait headline that said Tom Holland was done with Spiderman after this new film. I didn't click on it to find out the details, because these sites have been offering clickbaity headlines like "NEW Black Widow actor announced...!" and it's for the What If series, not feature films. Grrr.

There was an article last week where Holland is quoted as saying the cast treated No Way Home as the end of the franchise. Doesn’t mean there won’t be more but it felt like a finale for them, at least in its current state. If they return it’d feel like a different world.

Let me try to find it.

We saw Hamilton last weekend in a 2,700- seat theater. But proof of vax/negative test + 100% masking required.

Nice to know that the room where it happens requires vaccination.

That would be so gnarly, was it weird with a different cast? I realize that's how it goes, but I feel like I've listened/watched Hamilton 4 million times with the original cast and I always wondered how different that would be.

It was better for being in-person. Hamilton is the only show that I've seen the OBC staging, but the film doesnt really count imo because what you see is so curated. So I don't really know what it's like not seeing a touring company first. They all deliver different performances, they all have different qualities; some were actually better than their OBC counterpart, but across the board there's no sense of "B-team".

Regardless, the Pantages Theater was dark for over 520 days. I'd have paid to see a high school company.

Looking like Eternals is a mediocre mess of boredom.

Oh cool, glad she appears to bringing her expertise from ruining Nomadland over to this. I bet those sweeping landscape shots make it all worth the 2hr37min runtime

That's not surprising. It looks genuinely awful.

I have grave concerns about this MCU phase. Particularly with the new heroes.

Yep. I've been banging the drum for a while now that they're far too concerned with reflecting back on End Game than they are with moving forward. Marvel hasn't given me a reason to care about the future.

Bill Murray in Ant-Man just makes too much sense.

Eternals sitting at 62% on RT. Worst score in the MCU and it’ll only continue to drop. Might end up being their first rotten score.

It was also getting review bombed on IMDB due to depicting LGBTQ+ characters (and a gay kiss) until IMDB removed the review section until the movie is actually released.

People really need better things to care about.

Getting excited to watch Shang Chi tomorrow, watched all hail the king or something like that last night with the kids, I have no idea what's going on with this, but they really jammed a lot of stuff into that 13 minutes and I wish it was longer. Is there anything I should recall going into shang Chi? This 10 rings gang seems like they could be bad news
