Last week's She-Hulk was actually pretty good, thanks almost entirely to DD.

I finally found my main criticism of the show (realizing that most people have many main criticisms, but, I digress). Continually acting like Tatiana Maslany is such a homely nobody that only a blind guy could be attracted to her. Just madness.Last week's She-Hulk was actually pretty good, thanks almost entirely to DD.

I didn't mind She Hulk or Thor: Love and Thunder.

I think I have two episodes left of She Hulk. The superhero retreat episode was something. Evidently, the last two get to the point of the show. Looking forward to that.

Good. I'll binge it the next few days. I'll probably enjoy it since I have low expectations for it.
I watched Hawkeye for the third time. I really love that one and will watch it again in December.

This does have some She Hulk spoilers in it (damn it, I hadn't watched it yet)
Yikes, I'd forgotten William Hurt had passed away. My concerns are Ford's age, although he is good shape physically. They have him listed in films that haven't even started filming yet, and won't for 4-5 years. At his age, one's health can turn very quickly.

That was good lol.
She Hulk, for what it's worth, ended better than I thought it would, probably because of the Daredevil cameo.

I agree with this, except for the will watch again part. My two teenagers hated it, and my wife fell asleep an hour into it. But it was better than I thought it would be. I don't know why I keep laughing about the Goat Boat, but it is what it is.I actually loved Thor Love and Thunder and thought it was really funny. The action wasn't great and it's a distant cry from the incredibleness of marvels past but expecting the worst i thoroughly enjoyed it and will watch again
The Infinity Cones thing was cringe, obviously. But I know 100% that if New Asgard was real, it would be a huge tourist trap with cruise ships and everything.

The She-Hulk finale was trash. The series had one good episode and it was thanks solely to DD. The meta/inside baseball/4th wall bullshit was way the **** over done. This is the kind of **** that’s funny only to people at Marvel or Disney.
Marvel phase 4 is so far from the quality of End Game that it’s like an entirely different universe.

I didn't like L&T as much as Ragnarok but that's a high bar to clear because Ragnarok is my favorite MCU movie, and I really think it's one of the best ones from start to finish.I agree with this, except for the will watch again part. I liked L&T, it was nice to see Natalie Portman back and as someone who was unfamiliar with the source material, and I thought her story and the overall story was good. Not all the humor landed for me, but whatever; that's what it sounds like you get with Taika.
It's reminiscent of how I felt after seeing GOTG2 and comparing it back to GOTG. I think L&T leans a little too hard into certain things that worked in Ragnarok and the first iteration zaniness. For example, I love that since Ragnarok, the writers/directors have largely allowed Hemsworth to tap into his comedic timing & delivery, but L&T feels to me like they've gone too far towards "Thor the Musclebound Always-Buffoon".
That said, the Goat Boat had me crying laughing in the theater when we saw it and I, too, have no idea why. It's hysterical.

Who's the guy in the coffee shop calling Ant-man Spider-man? There were lots of memes with him in it (from some other show or movie) but I couldn't place him.

The fella at the end of the trailer is Kang the Conquerer, yes? He's the big baddie that leads to the next Avengers movie, which isn't until 2024. Also, Quantumania is the start of phase 5, which means phase 4 is easily the worst MCU "phase" yet unless Black Panther can redeem it somehow.

Kang from Loki right?
