I don't want to ever have to shovel again. My single stage can handle 2" just fine if needed, but I'd hate to upgrade and not be able to actually use it unless there's 6" of snow on the ground.

I feel like a decent leaf blower can handle anything under 3-4 too. I used mine yesterday morning

... why would you not use it under 6"? I'm not following.

If you're asking me, I've read that some 2-stage snowblowers simply struggle to grab the snow and throw it when there's that little of it.

Oh... was not aware of that. If it's under 4" or so, I just use a shovel.

I don't think that there's really a low end limit to when you can effectively use it, it just gives you much more on the high end. Personally, I don't think I've ever used it for less than 4 inches though. I do have my scraper blade set pretty high since I use it on the yard too.

Unless it's wet snow, yeah. I usually just use a broom for a couple inches of powder.I feel like a decent leaf blower can handle anything under 3-4 too. I used mine yesterday morning

Nah, I'm going to give my BIL my current one if I upgrade.

I completely ignored my driveway. Was worried the MINI wouldn't get over the lump left by the plow, but it ended up not being so bad.
My wife was less than thrilled but she takes that annoyance to work with her so I don't have to deal with it.

I'm probably going to upgrade as well. Mine can handle 6 inches of dry snow and 0 inches of wet. With a bad back, it's a no-brainer

We typically use Snap-On tools at work, but don't know how that would look to an everyday consumer price-wise. They are good quality. No Alice Cooper references though

Same. Probably the only Dewalt stuff I own that I actually don’t like. Milwaukee bits are much better.I have dewalt ones and wouldn't recommend them.

Not sure if you purchased or not but kreg is releasing a new product next week so may be worthwhile to see what it is and the K prices might drop moreIs he K series worth it? Or just get the cheapo with a secondary clamp?

I got the K4 system at home depot in a hurry. I see both the K4 and the master system is dropping on Kreg's site right now. Bummer, I tried to get Home Depot to price match and she said they wont. It was weird because I never seem to have a problem at HD with customer service, they're always top notch. Not sure if you purchased or not but kreg is releasing a new product next week so may be worthwhile to see what it is and the K prices might drop moreIs he K series worth it?
