Fair points.
The dog poo gets tractor tire stomped.
My dogs really good about pooping in the woods and not the yard actually.

My attitude toward my outside landscaping could best be described as "indifferent." I don't care what the lawn is made of so long as it's green, for example. I have no landscaped areas, and if there are leaves under bushes, they can stay there. The little leaf bits all over the lawn will generally be gone by spring.

Mulching the leaves is better for the lawn too.

Within reason, though. If I mulched my leaves, there would be too much debris and it would hurt the lawn. Ask me how I know…

Same here NTP. I want my kids to have grass to play on, not mud and moss

Did one more pass on the leaves this morning. Got another 4 bags. Most of them gone probably have to do one more next weekend for the stragglers.

The leaf mulcher with bag I got that I can carry around on my back is a life saver. Sucks em up mulches em and bags it all in one shot. Mower gets the leftovers.

Hung up a fleximount 4x8 overhead storage rack. I must say, it was not a simple task. Maybe because my garage ceilings are about 12 feet high. Anyway, it'll be nice for some tote storage and strollers.

People's Gas found a leak in our gas line up near the road when they were upgrading their street connection. Yay me. Thankfully I signed up for their Protection Program a year or two ago.

$3.75 a month paid out gangbusters. It's all on PNG to replace everything, and a contractor will be out tomorrow morning to do the work. Even getting the meter moved outside.

Biggest scam in the world. We broke it, you fix it. Unless you pay us monthly, then maybe we'll fix it.

Big scam alright. I've paid maybe $80 into it and everything is being replaced outright because of a leak all the way out by the road.

I saw the line - it was filled with some kind of funky white build-up.

By law, they are responsible for lines up to and including the meter. Code calls for all meters to be outside with a shut off valve, so companies are relocating them any time they encounter them when replacing / upgrading lines.

Cleaned out the garden beds, planted a bunch of spring bulbs, threw all the leaves over and mulched the beds again. Never did this in the fall, but everything looks great. Will be interested to see if the fall mulch does anything besides look nice

Boys. My genius gf set the mixer on a hot stove range. Any suggestions on how to get this dried up plastic off the stove?

You're definitely the exception to the rule. Maybe gas lines are treated differently than water lines, but I've heard many stories of people that pay the insurance for their water lines, have water line issues, and are still stuck with the bill. Perhaps it was something where the water company paid for the repair insofar as they fixed the leak, but all the damage to the property, including digging it up, was on the owner.

Momma Mac has some specific glass top cleaner for hers because I did this with a plastic takeout container. Those glasstop ranges suck. Upgrade to gas
