That’s what we did for my wife - she uses the 4th bedroom as her office.

I usually paint late till I’m done. Beats waking up and thinking “****, I gotta finish painting.”

That was our thought last night and it was the right call based on her still sleeping right now lol.

Yeah I have our bigger spare bedroom as my office and we can't both be in that room working...too cramped and too much noise.

So making the 3rd bedroom her new "office"...seemed to be the easiest thing to do. Plus it gave her an excuse to paint which she loves lol.

I want to paint my daughter’s bathroom, because I hate the color. Daughter doesn’t like it, either.

We've repainted every room in this house minus part of the living room/hallway and the 2nd bedroom(my office)...and I think that's getting painted soon based on our discussion last night.

We just had our basement remodeled and decided to paint to save some money. Was not terrible, but now I need to do a second coat and trim. Random but how do I post a picture?

It’s easiest from a desktop, but go to https://imgur.com/upload and upload the photo there. Once done, right-click on the photo and choose “copy image link”. On 5AF, use the “Img” button to create img tags in the post, and paste the url inside. Like this:

Code: Select all

[img]https://www.imgur.com/efrjf.jpg[/img]
Doing this on mobile is more of a pain in the ass. You have to open a private tab in your browser and then go to imgur, then switch the page to desktop mode. Then you can upload the image from your photos on your phone.

Wife wants to pay off the house sooner, so it looks like we'll be upping our principal payment. Should be paid off in 6 years now.

Our basement was finished with that owens corning or whatever walls. We had it gutted and drywalled, and got new everything. So pumped with how it turned out. Before and after below.

Personal preference, obviously, but I think they'd brighten the room up further painted white.

We've been in our house for 7 years and have re-painted every room (twice in some rooms). My wife watches HGTV and gets an idea and then we're into it. I hate to paint but I'm kind of just used to it by now lol. Painting accompanies pretty much any project we do. I've put new flooring down in every room except for two. Each time, we paint the room first.

That’s correct. 0 shiplap in our house. More property brothers than magnolia.

We just got one of those Home Depot financing coupons, so we are going to replace our dishwasher, fridge, range, and over the range microwave. The dishwasher and fridge we bought when we moved in, the range and microwave were already there.

The top-rated brands on Tom's, CNet, etc. are all on sale at Home Depot right now...good timing. The only one that isn't on sale is the Bosch dishwasher--with two young children, I am not going the budget route with a new dishwasher. That thing looks awesome.

Not even I would spend a grand on a dishwasher.

Is "fascia" also a home thing? If it is, I also don't know what that is.
