Dafuq? A 150w bulb in that fixture isn't going to overdraw the circuit unless some clown installed 5amp breakers and overloaded it.

There's minimal difference between the 100w/120v bulb you just pulled and the 150w/130v bulb you just bought. Maybe 1/10th of an amp.

It’s actualy 3 tenths of amp.

Let’s say he has a 15 amp breaker.

Safe load is 12 Amps. It might not be an issue unless all the other loads with the old bulb already equal that or are close to it. You ideally don’t want to go over the safe load of the breaker. I’ve seen dumbass contractors use 10amp breakers before.

It's a 15 amp breaker. Also on it are 3 LED ceiling lights and a few outlets that aren't used.

Like I said before. It is worth looking when increasing amps to see if you’ll be ok. I’ve seen dumbass **** before that could cause damage.

No. It’s just using common sense. You don’t **** with electricity. I’ve built circuits and wired rooms before.

It is a layer padding you put on top of table to prevent scratches

Anyone know if there is any kind of restriction on adding a wood burning fireplace to an existing home in Westmoreland County? I know some jurisdictions like Wisconsin have effectively made them prohibitive through a combination of legislation and exorbitant insurance rates.

Ask for forgiveness not permission

(your insurance company would likely want to know)

We're hiring an architect and it will end up being on the plans that get submitted for permit.

The only place I've ever had a functional log burning fireplace was at the beach in NC, go figure.

Is it wrong that I've only got half the basement studded but I already mounted the 65" TV to the wall?

I was up in Erie this afternoon so I stopped at Sherwin Williams to grab a couple gallons. Had to leave empty handed since they were apparently out of Emerald matte base. I wasn't going to paint tonight anyway and they're getting more tomorrow, but really? Seems that shouldn't happen.
