Some footbaw news:
Brian Batko tweeted this morning that according to Narduzzi, LB Anthony McKee has graduated and will not pursue his fifth year. Phil Campbell will reportedly get some reps at that LB spot during spring ball.
Not entirely surprising on either front but I feel bad for McKee. He had a pretty strong offer sheet coming out of high school and committed shortly after Narduzzi was hired. I was pretty excited to see if he and Brightwell could help build a solid LB corps here, but McKee battled some injuries early on and by the time he was consistently healthy, he was never able to supplant Zeise & Idowu at either of the outside LB spots.
Campbell potentially moving to LB also doesn't surprise me. He's built more like a prototypical college LB now anyway.

McKee was part of a very weird 2015 recruiting class that was part chryst and part nard dog

there were some fairly highly regarded late additions by nard dog, but of the late additions, Rara lopes was actually good, birghtwell has been ok (tho he does hold a special place in many hearts), stocker has been somewhere below ok, and the rest were at best invisible and at worst ben denucci.
the chyrst portion of that class had 4 major contributors, 1 minor contributor (tipton) and the rest were zeros.
