They're getting there. They played pretty even with the Dookies for about 32 minutes and had a 7 or 8 minute stretch towards the end of the first half that was the difference. They need a big, too many offensive rebounds, and just the threat of inside scoring would be huge. They also need a 3 that can bang some threes. The guards are incredible at driving but with no big man or shooter to drive and dish to, it can't win games against the top teams. I think they can end up middle of the pack ACC which would be incredible.

IIRC Oden was tall and lanky, and already had rumblings of microfractures in his knees before he even made it to the NBA. In hindsight, what an awful pick. Then Oden put weight on and hurt himself more.

do other fanbases care this much about having people even remotely related to the school come back and coach and/or be the ad?

I grew up a Marshall Thundering Herd fan and our fan base is constantly starting threads on the message boards about Chad Pennington or Byron Leftwich coming back and coaching team.

I just stared into Chris Mack’s eyes and committed to play hoops for him.

Louisville is rolling. No shame in losing to a team like that.

Dukes losing their lead too... bad day for local hoops. But maybe Penn St can beat Rutgers.
