Super panthers are currently 7 point favorites against the demon deacons. wake has been kind of floating through this season. they aren't really bad but they aren't really good either. they just are kind of there. the backup qb threw for almost 300 yards against NC state. Their defense is 103rd in the nation in rushing yards allowed per game.

pitt should win and should run the hell out of the ball. it seems like pitt has cured a lot of the pass defense problems, but from time to time against uva and VT the passing defense showed signs of old. overall im nervous but what the hell, pitt is playing relevant football and that is all that matters

I'd like to see the super panthers "run the hell out of the ball" then in a bizzaro world fashion, start throwing the ball when they have a comfortable lead.

He still was - VT just folded defensively.

I have Tobacco Road family - Wake, NC St and UNC grads.

I’m a UNC basketball guy but I went to bat for PA football talking to the Wake folks, saying Pitt has really turned their season around with a dominant run game. They weren’t phased. Say they have a spread offense like UNC’s that will give Pitt fits, and Coach Claw is perfectly fine with stacking the box.

But so was Bud Foster. The big question here is if Wake has the horses - VT didn’t and Wake sure as hell did against a very good NC St team. This should be a good game.
