I have nothing against this guy in particular, but grad transfers are not a sustainable source of success on the offensive line

Ulizio, a 6-foot-5, 305-pounder from West Chester, Ohio, opened Michigan's 2017 season as the team's starting right tackle but was eventually replaced by Juwann Bushell-Beatty during the sixth game of the season.

He has not started since, appearing as a reserve guard and offensive tackle in three games during the 2018 season.
Senior (2018)

• Saw action at left guard against Western Michigan (Sept. 8)
• Played along the field goal protection unit against Nebraska (Sept. 22)
• Saw snaps at left tackle against Penn State (Nov. 3), at Rutgers (Nov. 10) and against Florida in the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl (Dec. 29)

If this dude is actually better than the guys recently recruited and already on the roster, well then ****....

Pitt got a recruit yesterday, not on anyone's radar.

I was pissed. This loss and the Niagra loss are the 2 that bother me. They literally gave this game away missing foul shots, letting the Wake guy wide open for the put back with a second left.

God.

Too far into the season to blame this kind of baloney on Stallings.

Wait - so your coach tweets out a 2 star commit, a mediocre grad transfer Michigan didn’t play and then says that’s a wrap? With a big local recruit being stolen by Kentucky?

Boy, this is almost as bad a look as 51-6. Yikes.

I could also see Duzz doing this to mess around and have him commit later today

So not only does he lose a local recruit to **** Kentucky, he makes sure to tweet out that the class is complete 3 hours before Devonshire announces, ruining the kid's "moment". What a **** douchebag. You suck at your job, don't be salty toward a teenager over it.

to play devil's advocate, he needs to wait for every kid to announce they're going elsewhere to announce his class? if Duzz knows he isn't coming to Pitt and his class is complete, he can get on with his own business and move forward

No depth and no big men, that falls on Stallings.

Being idiots and just letting a wide open guy on a last second rebound is current.

While you're not wrong, it's still petty bullshit on his part and it's not the first time he's done stuff like this. Dude is a Canaan. It's undeniable.

IMO, he's not a good enough coach to be that petty. It was clear why he did it this AM.

I think the freshmen, especially McGowens, are starting to hit a bit of a wall. Johnson playing all 45 minutes last night isn't going to help things either. Only got to the line 18 times last night. Brown has made progress, but Chukwuka is ass and they desperately need an outside shooter.
