I threw out the separation thing because it seemed to be more of an issue early in the season. I admittedly haven't watched this as closely.imo at this point the "wr creating separation" concept is not a thing. mack ffrench and rara all have been able to get open. to a lesser extent shocky and Mathews have gotten open. its not a wr problem.
If the issue is more related to Pickett's accuracy, footwork, etc. those are fortunately correctable to a point. I'm still not a huge fan of the way Watson designs the route packages. I think too much goes to the sidelines and not enough of an attempt is made to work underneath. Again, though, maybe that's because they don't trust Pickett's accuracy on those kind of throws.
