Kenneth, thank you for your service.

Please give us a road game rundown from Cville
This was road trip #20 for the kangaroo. Charlottesville is a good college town and has a lot of fun options for drinking and/or being a southern person that wears khakis and a blue and orange oxford to a football game. Many people would describe as UVA’s campus “above the line” or “really effing cool” or “nicer than Notre Dame and clemson and definitely UPS”

UVA has such a crappy football history. My bros and i tried to come up with a uva hall of fame. Other than heeeaaaaaath and chris long? Thomas jones? Who the hell else is noteworthy from that school? They hang their hat on being the first team to beat FSU in acc play, and they actually had a mural in the stadium for that occasion. I mean, its a cool win, but a mural? Minor league stuff.

Some guy was wearing an #83 uva jersey at a bar and we kept on yelling heaaaath at him. Turns out that miller wore 89 at uva but it would have been nice if someone would have pointed that out to us.

This pitt team really isn’t that good, but they are winning and winning is fun so hopefully they win against VT.

One last item: there is a mellow mushroom (official pizza of the Atlantic coast conference) on Main Street, about 1.5 miles from scott stadium. Those mother effers stop sellling pizza at 11:00 even though its open until 2 to drink. On a friday. In a large college town. What the hell?

So who other than me will be at Pitt/Wake Forest to watch the Panthers win the ACC Coastal?

Just announced that the start time is Noon.

We stopped here to stay the night one time before going to OBX. Late at night, we went to this place and suffered the same scenario. A few of us got really messed up and immediately left when we found this out.

There are 9 teams with 4+ wins vs. the current FPI top 50. Eight of them are ranked in the top 25.

The other? Pitt, which wasn’t among 41 teams earning a vote.

I am kind of surprised they weren't at least on the others receiving votes this week tbh

They looked soooooo bad against ups and UCF that a win against VaTech still wouldn’t get them in top 25 is my guess

Pitt is currently 2.5 point favorites against vt. Normally this would give the kangaroo feelings of doom, but lets be positive here.

Pitt is like 16-2 as a favorite under the Duzz

Edit: 16-4. 12-2 as a home favorite

The results of this past weekend set up both my best-case Pitt scenario (WIN THE COASTAL! HELLO CHARLOTTE AND A POTENTIAL CHANCE TO EITHER UPSET CLEMSON AGAIN OR GET OUR ASSES TOTALLY KICKED) and the worst-case Pitt scenario (Pitt beats Duke & UVA to get to 5 wins, then pulls a Wanny 2006, loses out and misses a bowl game).

Nothing makes sense this season and even considering that, I still can't believe that if Pitt wins this weekend and next weekend, they win the Coastal outright. So yes, I, too, am already nervous for this game.

a. pitt hoops won their first game, so that is nice.

b. looking to get some input from da fans on what everyone thinks pitt needs to do to win the rest of the games. an improved passing game would be a start, but I think consistency on defense and shtty qb play from opposing teams would help more.

What is your list KtK. I love road trips. I've been to:

ACC: Syracuse, NC State, GT, Clemson, Louisville, UVA (will be checking WF off list next week)
BIG: PSU, Iowa, Michigan St
Big XII: WVU
Other: ND (x3), USF, Temple, Akron, Ohio, Navy
Bowls: Insight (2000), Tangerine Bowl, Tire Bowl, Fiesta Bowl

I picked up tickets in Sideline 17, about halfway up.

Will be my first Pitt game in almost 10 years.

Nice. I ordered from the Pitt ticket office. They haven't come yet (should be coming any day). I'll let you know where my group is sitting when we get the tix.

If they play like they did vs Virginia they will win out. If they can somehow figure out how to pass block and make effective play action passes on top of that they can win the last three handily. Or they can play like they did at UNC and go 0-3
