I was dropping my wife off at the airport this morning and she casually mentioned that she would miss the first week of fish fry this year. It completely snuck up on me.

I think the only new place I'm going to strive to hit this year is South Greensburg Restaurant. Went there for breakfast for the first time a few weeks ago, really like their vibe.

This is the time of year I am thankful that Monroeville/Plum have churches on every main road and plenty of firehalls. There are at least 3 churches along haymayker alone that do fish fry's I think.

Barrel Junction may be the go to from here on out. St. Catherine's of Sweden has soured on me. I end up waiting in the car line for 30 minutes at times. It's run by a bunch of high school kids, and they have no clue what they are doing.

The last time I went to St. Catherine's of Sweden my dog was in the car and barked incessantly the entire time we sat there, probably 20 minutes. After that I defaulted to St. Mary's on Middle Road.
