I'm not a big fish eater...
You live in Wilmington bruh.

Anyway, cod and haddock up here. Could be anything down there since there is so much available. Small mahi make fantastic fried fish sandwiches.

I'm not a big fish eater, but when you have a dish like "fish fry" or "fish and chips", what type of fish is it? or does it depend on the restaurant/time (aka the "catch of the day")?
White fish. Usually cod

I just found out this past Friday that the Backdraft closed (bar attached to a VFW near my house). Turd of a hole in the wall but great bar-fried-fish sandwich.

Is the norfside sportsmen worth a 30 minute drive
if you are making a special trip up for it, i would say no. if you have some other things you can do, yes.

Has anyone been to the fish fry at Epiphany Church (the one by PPG Paints Arena)? I've heard it's very good but never seem to make it up there to decide for myself.

im going to continue to bombard this thread with questions:

what is the parking situation (obviously during non-hockey nights in Pittsburgh) around epiphany? fairly easy to find a spot on fifth?

The lots are open for commuters. Not sure what they cost to enter in the evening though.

I can/should walk over there after work one day.

I'm going to miss the first two Fridays. I could conceivably grab something on my way out of town tonight but I'm taking the DMC and I will not have it stinking like fish/tartar.

Holy Angles (in Hayes) fish was very "meh" on Ash Wednesday. Smaller serving and less flavor than last year.

North Braddock Fish fry was very good. Busy, but efficient and huge portions of fish.

Every one I have been to has had both options. Most of them will even let you call ahead to order so you don't have to wait. Some even deliver now.
