Yes they are. Absolute worst team in the league with Baltimore a close second. We are fortunate to get to play them. Should be a couple easy wins.

I don't think the Sox are too high on the payroll charts. The Os however are a colossal disaster. Can we haz Machado?

Also, the Pirates are on their way to being 7 games over .500 over a quarter through the season. 10-3 in the division I believe.. to anyone still on the boycott train, this is a fun team to watch, you're missing out.

Marte and Polanco both getting feisty with the boycotters on the social media.

I mean what's even the message of the boycott now? How dare you field a first place team, management. Jerks.

I imagine 11K for a weeknight game in May isn't like an infrequent happening for this team.

The boycott is just a collection of fair weather fans that wouldn't be going to a meaningless May game anyway. It's just being amplified by the Fan and people like Tim Williams.

I think its more a wave of indifference than any boycott.

Yours truly was in attendance last night. I enjoy a two-thirds empty ballpark because there's less sweaty people around to annoy me. Williams is solid. Frazier had a solid night. Hope Cervelli's hand is okay. White Sox are incredibly terrible.

I'll be there Saturday, got free tickets at work. Unless there is a hint of rain then I'll probably make fun little paper airplanes out of them.

DD, that's true in theory, but they just shutter most of the concessions and create an artificial wait anyway.

I'm only going because I've never been to a night game at PNC. If it's raining and cold? Yeah, no.

I don't mind waiting in line (still wasn't much of one) if it means I can go spread eagle and air the goods out because the 20 seat row has 4 people in it.

Oh.

Well, sure. I wouldn't be surprised to find that a group of baseball fans would think a rain delay is some rite of passage that enables you to truly enjoy the game for what it is, or something.

I think either that broke a bone for Cervelli, or it didn't and he'll be fine for this weekend.

Marte's is obviously more problematic, hopefully he didn't tear a muscle in his side or something.
