Taillon hasn't been flashy, but he's been effective.

AJ Shugel is throwing a simulated game down in Clearwater before the Bradenton Marauders game there this afternoon. If he’s pitching well, that would be a significant add to the bullpen soon.

I also noticed that Matt Neverett - son of former Pirates PBP guy Tim Neverett - is the PBP guy or the Marauders this season. Graduated from App State last May.

Harrison with a broken bone in the hand, out six weeks. Luckily the dropoff from Harrison to Frazier is not catastrophic.

Wonder who gets the call. Bostick, who this organization has completely miscast as a light-hitting outfielder since the moment they acquired him, is batting 348/400/565/965.

Osuna - 333/433/583/1017
Moroff - 280/406/440/846

Neither Seinfeld character would be getting called up in April and Luplow is batting a smoldering 100/174/100/274, so I'm gonna assume he gets zero consideration at this point.

Or maybe they go completely insane and roll with 14 pitchers.

If Osuna has progressed enough that they feel comfortable sticking him at 3B once in a while I'd like to see him get the call

Moroff probably for the sake of position flexibility. bostick might get the call for his similar flexibility. I don't see where this team gets osuna at bats with moran polanco and Dickerson all scorching the ball.

Being told I'm giving in to 'groupthink' because I think the Pirates are losers is a really fantastic twist of an argument. The default setting for the Pirates is 'loser', I don't have to buy in to anything.

I don't think 11-4 is statistically meaningful, no.

Yes, on this one, I am gleefully waiting for the 'I told you so." They flash you two weeks of competence and hope sets in. Any short term success by this team this season will just retard any real future progress as it validates ownerships choices.

*glances at attendance numbers*

Second to last in the NL in attendance/game? I don't think I'm in that much of a minority here.
