I dunno where this goes as most probably don't care, but PSU got their 7th national title in the last 8 years in wrestling last night. They locked it up with a very dramatic match:

Glad to see the football thread already up. Can it just be September? I glanced again at the ‘18 schedule. I know it will be a transition year without Barkley and some of the other NFL talent, but with Trace back, the toughest games all at home, I see no reason they can’t win at least 10.

Most of the other PSU wrestler interviews were not like that. Cael seems to have most of them trained into a more workman, business as usual attitude rather than dude bro attitude.

I was there, my cousin was wrestling and took 4th, pretty cool. Anyway that place was nuts and although I was heavily rooting against it so my cousin could have a natty ring, that was pretty crazy. Bo is a stud. And as much as I also hate to stick up for a UPSer, interviewing these kids seconds after a match, especially one of that magnitude is insane. They're so pumped up and also completely physically and mentally shot that you never know what will come out of their mouths. I hate that they don't give them a minute or two to wind down before.

Oh for sure. He was caught up in it as he should be. But with zero context the speech comes across as douchey. I completely understand that in that particular situation it would take a very special person to not sound like a ******.

The Pirates have moved their September 8 home game to the afternoon so Pitt-Penn State can be a night game. It'll be fun whiting out that stadium and kicking their asses all over national TV.

Ups fan: actually it is bad that people want to see a rivalry game because less people want to see a non rivalry game not involving the team I root for. This is a good and sound position for me to take, a very reasonable college football person who is not insane
