Last game, any other big 10 team, except maybe Nebraska, takes advantages of PSU's mistakes. Very fortunate that Indiana gave right back.

Timely holding penalties and fortuitous bounces on punts, including the one that led to PSU's 33-21 TD are what put them over the top. Thomas's KO return to the 5 was a great momentum changer, too. Iowa won't let them get away with that on Saturday.

PSU -6.5 against Iowa. That's the power of the home field advantage.

You'd figure they're due for a win at home, right?

9 wins still very attainable...

Iowa 5 Ups 0? Extremely on brand for this series. I’m watching Pitt but there is clearly a bunch of nonsense on the way in this game.

He recruits great players because I think they legitimately like the guy- but that doesn't make a great coach once they're on the field.

Forget "elite" and "great." I'd settle for being back to "good" at this point.

Very weird game today. Uninspired start then they woke up and started pouring it on in the 2nd half. Then they're about to go up 17 and they get cute at the 10 and give it away. Then get it back and Trace forces one that gets taken back for 6. Iowa has a chance to go ahead and they give it right back to PSU. I'm not buying the whole 'defense played great/really well' line of thinking. If Stanley wasn't such a boob (and had hit his hand on someone's helmet in the 4th quarter), Iowa wins that game because the defense can't cover a tight end, a running back, or make an open field tackle at the point of attack.

Next week might be a bloodbath so let's try to enjoy the win tonite.
