The local coffee shop (The Kentlee) had a chef come in for a pop-up kitchen today. Got a wrap that is effectively a Big Mac. Pretty tasty.

My wife told me to eat the cantaloupe because it was expensive. So I am.

Lunch
I am enjoying the “bowl” oriented diet. So today I had a serving of a broccoli faro tahini recipe that my wife cooked last night with some sliced grilled chicken, avocado and sliced tomato.
I need to lose 15 lbs, I don’t think I am going to do it with exercise so I am trying to figure out what food routine is going to do it. This is helping me eat more fresh veggies, I think filling up on healthy food is probably going to be the easiest way for me to do it

Lunch
I just had a turkey sandwich and pretzels... but I made my wife a meal prep for the week along the same lines as the bowl idea.
Faro, chickpeas, bell pepper, cucumber, parsley, feta all mixed together with a lemon olive oil vinaigrette and topped with some grilled chicken. She texted me at lunch today and said it was delicious.

Yep, can't go wrong with faro and chicken. Feta is clutch, little sodium balls. Randomly, I hate chick peas, but love hummus. So for my bowls I make batches of hummus and plop a spoonful in with the mix.
